Just a short video, I wish I had taken more but I was pressed for time and busy trying to get my jeep out of the mud. I've seen tons of videos from this place on youtube and I just recently discovered that Its actually on the way to my brothers house in Kentucky. So I decide, spur of the moment, to stop in and have a look around. It didn't take long before I ran into some other first timer visiters and shortly after that we were stuck. Well I was stuck anyway, and the young fellow with the yellow truck almost got stuck trying to retrieve me. I should mention that this all started with the two young ladies that were accompanying the yellow truck fellow. They said they wanted to mud and well, we found the mud. Attica Indian, where this is located, is still over 5hr from home and I didn't want to stay the night, so my first experience with badlands was basically getting stuck, spending two hours getting out and then driving home. We ended up pulling the jeep out with a come along that we anchored to a tree. There was also a cool chap from Boston who was on his first ever off road experience, dude was kind enough to make a trip to the local auto parts store to pick up the come along. All in all it was a great experience, I will defiantly be back and next time Ill be sure to get more footage. Shout out to the off roaders - let me know if you have any good off road spots in the mid west. I would love to find something close to Wisconsin. Less
