If there is no God, life is one big crapshoot.nnIf God does exist, morality is a real, objective feature of the world. If there is no God, morality is just the rules we make up for this little game of life we play.nnIf God exists, love is the nature of an eternal reality. If there is no God, love is just a fleeting feeling, no more than a bunch of chemical and neurological interactions.nnIf God exists, you are of infinite value. He knows you as a parent knows His child. He’s accessible to you. If there is no God, each of us is as insignificant as a rock on an unknown planet.nnIf God exists, death is conquered because if there is a God there is a reality outside of space and time. If there is no God, there is nothing immortal, and all the good things in life are destroyed forever. You, and everyone you love, and everything you think matters are all consigned to oblivion. If there is no God, life is pointless. Everything we’ve done and lived for will ultimately be in vain.nnCan I prove with an absolute certainly that God exists? I can make the case that overwhelming evidence suggests that he does. But no I can’t prove that He exists with absolute certainly. That’s likely part of His plan. God deliberately doesn't give us absolute proof so that we're free to choose or not to choose to believe in Him.nSo which way do you want to go?nnBe honest. Doesn't your heart at least hope that there is a good God, a transcendent Validator of love and all the highest human values? Of course it does. The hall brings world class music to the local community through the Music Lab, providing education and recording space for local children.nnThe Music Lab at Jefferson Center is working daily to pull from every social and economic class of the Roanoke community and create the next wave of real, human musicians. They host low cost or free after-school programs for any interested young people filled with visits by guest artists, private instrumental instruction, and recording training. We got excited when Nintendo announced they want to start getting into movies. When they announced that they were doing them all animated, we felt that was a good idea, but we believe there were two important franchises they should consider live action...Zelda and Metroid! Both properties would really lend themselves to awesome live action movies if they were done correctly. We had already made a Zelda fan film, so we knew we had to make one for Metroid as well. With a solid actress, solid story and incredible visuals, Metroid would really lend itself to an awesome sci-fi film and we think Nintendo should make a real one.nnIn 2015 when we were making our Legend of Zelda fan trailer, we noticed our Zelda cosplayer had the most incredible Samus cosplay we had ever seen, and we knew that we had to do collaborate on our next fan film (be sure to check her out on "Pigtails and Powertools Cosplay" https://www.facebook.com/Pigtails-and-Power-Tools-Cosplay-Creations-498874520248730/). Her cosplay is the MVP of the video no mistake.nnWe hope you enjoy the short film. It was a no budget production but we really enjoyed putting it together. Dark alleyways and empty spaces can often mean danger and a sense of anxiety for the most vulnerable members of society. Now in a bid to improve safety, the Australian capital of Canberra has come up with a new interactive website where people can give their feedback about where they feel unsafe and why. For some people certain areas at night are a ‘no go’, once it gets dark. Frances McNair is one of many people using the Safety Mapping Tool. “There are so many places in Canberra where the lighting is just so insufficient, it’s so dark and you kind of, you just don’t feel comfortable,” she says. The site is designed and managed by the Women’s Centre for Health Matters (WCHM) and is funded by the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) government. “Over the years we know that women often tell us that they find it hard sometimes to be feel safe in public so we’ve designed a digital tool to try and be able to collect some of that information from women,” says Marcia Williams from the Women’s Centre for Health Matters. The WCHM site is accessed via an app or website. Frances McNair demonstrates how the program works. “So you’ve got three selections, you can either choose the rectangle, circle or just the drop pin. And how do you feel? I’m going to say unsafe and why do I feel this way, there’s a lack of lighting on the bike paths,” she says. Having the map online makes it accessible and portable. “If I’m sitting somewhere and I feel really good about the place or I’m not feeling too great, I can take out my phone and I can put in all the information and it gets collected then and there.” says McNair. Like most things on the web, the map is open to comments but the centre says it has safeguards in place to prevent abusive or troll-like behaviour. “We’ve deliberately designed the system so the information that’s put in isn’t available to everyone and we’ll be able to sort through that data,” says Marcia. By bringing the feedback together, the site will be able to pass on useful information to government and planning bodies about what works and what doesn’t. “If we can get that information through an interactive portal then we can look at ways that we can make the city feel safer and be more usable for everybody,” says ACT Minister for Women Yvette Berry.
