July 20, 2015 - Fitchburg, MA You can't see the guy on the motorcycle passing people on either side of the road earlier. Then him and the other guy in the gold SUV have words at a light and I have my daughter start recording. The moron on the bike walks up to the SUV with his hand in his waist band, in what looked like an attempt to make it seem like he had a weapon, unfortunately my man in the SUV actually did have a weapon. Rush-hour commuters park up and abandon vehicles on the side of the road as they rush to grab money scattered across carriageway Footage has emerged of the moment a wad of cash was left strewn across a busy road as rush hour commuters made their way home. Drivers using the Bukit Timah Expressway in Singapore were surprised to come across bank notes scattered across the carriageway. This dash-cam footage, which has been uploaded to Facebook, shows a number of vehicles parked up at the side of the road with people scampering to claim the cash. Cars filtering on to the road were forced to slow down to avoid the people claiming the money, most of which was believed to be Malaysian Ringgit $50 notes - worth about £8 each. Witnesses estimated that around £1,600 worth of notes were scattered across the road. It is not known how the money ended up on the carriageway on Monday evening. However, it may not end well for those who claimed the cash. The law in Singapore states that anyone who picked up notes and knew who they belong to could face a maximum of two years in jail. #financial_support_div{ display:none; position: absolute; width:300px; height:180px; margin-left: -150px; margin-top: -70px; /*- half of width and height */ top:50%; left:50%; padding: 5px; opacity:0.9; filter:alpha(opacity=90); z-index:1000; background-color:#000; color: white; } .close_box{ background: gray; color:#fff; padding:1px 3px; display:inline; position:absolute; right:1px; margin-right: -13px; margin-top: -13px; border-radius:3px; cursor:pointer; border: 1px #000 solid; } $(document).on("click",".close_box",function(){ $(this).parent().fadeTo(300,0,function(){ $(this).remove(); }); }); Loading the player ... Brick, NJ - Authorities are looking for man who stabbed a motorist during a road rage incident in Brick. Brick police Sgt. Larry Petrola said the incident started Wednesday night on Route 88 in Point Pleasant as both cars were headed west into Brick. The victim, who was driving a black Jeep Wrangler, told police that the driver of an Acura sedan was yelling at him and his family while driving aggressively. This continued for almost a mile until the cars reached the intersection of Route 88 and Barb Lane, Petrola said. At that point, the driver of the Acura, which had tinted windows and New York license plates, got out of his car and approached the Wrangler, Petrola said. The victim, a 39-year-old man from Toms River, got out ofhis car and a fight broke out between the two, he said. More info here Less

A road rage has been captured by security cameras in Mumbai. The pictures show a man clinging onto the bonnet of a car as it speeds down a busy road. The car driver got into a fight with a Volvo bus driver, beat him up in Navi Mumbai with a bat and smashed the windshield of the Volvo. When the assailant tried to escape, the bus driver climbed onto to the Maruti Swift to force it to stop. However, he was forced to cling to the wipers as the car driver zipped for another 300 metres; the bus driver then fell off the car. #financial_support_div{ display:none; position: absolute; width:300px; height:180px; margin-left: -150px; margin-top: -70px; /*- half of width and height */ top:50%; left:50%; padding: 5px; opacity:0.9; filter:alpha(opacity=90); z-index:1000; background-color:#000; color: white; } .close_box{ background: gray; color:#fff; padding:1px 3px; display:inline; position:absolute; right:1px; margin-right: -13px; margin-top: -13px; border-radius:3px; cursor:pointer; border: 1px #000 solid; } $(document).on("click",".close_box",function(){ $(this).parent().fadeTo(300,0,function(){ $(this).remove(); }); }); Loading the player ... Scientists have discovered the fossil of a monstrous sea scorpion in the US state of Iowa. The researchers from Yale University say the previously unknown species is nearly 1.7 meters long. They believe the extinct monster lived over 460 million years ago, making it the oldest sea scorpion ever discovered. The scientists say the skeleton of the ancient species is so well-preserved that they can even observe some of its smallest structures, such as the joints in the legs and the hair-like structures that lined many of its limbs. Most sea scorpions found so far are mainly shorter than 20 centimeters. Less

Made a visit to the South Carolina Aquarium in Charleston, South Carolina today. They have a sea turtle rescue hospital on site and to date have released 172 previously sick and injured turtles back into the wild after they've had time to recover from any number of injuries/illnesses. Two of the biggest problems for them are plastic bags and prop injuries from motorboats. They had mostly loggerheads, but also had a few green sea turtles as well as one Kemp's Ridley sea turtle which is the most endangered of all sea turtles. It was truly a rewarding experience getting up close and personal with some of these gentle giants. It's sad to think of them getting injured or sick because of mankind, but if we all do our part and clean up after ourselves at the beach and on the water it can make a difference. Peace! Less

Russian warships have fired a barrage of missiles at the positions of Daesh terrorists in Syria, destroying the Takfiri group's infrastructure across the country. Russia’s Defense Ministry says the country’s fleet in the Caspian Sea launched over two dozen missiles at 11 Daesh facilities late Wednesday. The precision weapons hit all the intended targets. Russia's Navy has recently joined the country's air force in conducting anti-terrorist operations in Syria. Moscow says the naval and air raids are meant to help Damascus in its fight against terrorism. Backed by Russian airstrikes, Syrian troops have also begun major ground offensives in the west.
