Moments after President Donald Trump announced the United States’ withdrawal from the Paris Climate Accord in the White House Rose Garden on Thursday, EPA Director Scott Pruitt defended the controversial move in a testy confrontation with Jake Tapper on CNN.nnTapper listed a number of the supporters of the Paris accord who believe the deal had economic benefits; various leaders of big oil companies, Apple CEO Tim Cook, and former ExxonMobil CEO and current Secretary of State Rex Tillerson.nn“They don’t know what they’re talking about when it comes to creating jobs in this country?!” Tapper asked, incredulously.nn“I think that it’s very speculative that those jobs would be impacted adversely,” Pruitt said. “But what we do know objectively, is that lost manufacturing jobs, lost energy jobs in this country, there were happening under the climate action agenda of the past administration. That’s a fact.nnTapper wasn’t satisfied with Pruitt’s response.nn“I’m sorry. With respect, sir, you didn’t answer my question,” Tapper said.nn“Sure I did,” Pruitt fired back.nnThe two went back-and-forth for a bit on how Trump might look to improve the deal. Pruitt also failed to answer directly a question about whether Trump believes climate change is a hoax.nnTowards the end of the interview, Tapper thanked Pruitt with impossible-to-miss frustration.nn“I do appreciate your time, and I do appreciate your taking these questions,” Tapper said.nnWatch above via CNN. White House adviser Kellyanne Conway brought some visual aids with her to Wednesday’s taping of Sean Hannity’s nightly show, a set of flash cards with rhyming talking points on them that became instantly meme-ified.nnOn Thursday, CNN’s Jake Tapper watched the footage of Conway’s bizarre performance and said, “I don’t know what to say.”nn“Shout-out to Grover,” said commentator Nia-Malika Henderson. “That’s probably the best thing I can say about that… I think it’s clearly a work in progress, them trying to figure out how to respond to this.”nnShe went on, “It’s essentially from the top down. Donald Trump is insisting this is a Democratic hoax. ‘There’s no there there.’ That’s all they’re left with and there she resorts to props. I don’t think it’s very effective. I think they’ve got to figure out how to respond to this.” Less

In an interview with Jake Tapper on CNN’s 'State of the Union,' Bernie Sanders talked about the upcoming single-payer healthcare bill that he’ll be introducing, and he made the case for 'Medicare for All.' Jake Tapper, however, decided to "challenge" Bernie Sanders by asking nonsensical questions about single-payer in an effort to imply that its inability to muster political support must make it bad policy. CNN isn't alone here, because in this segment, we'll demonstrate how other mainstream media outlets have deceived Americans about single-payer as well, specifically with respect to how they've manipulated Bernie Sanders' message.nn************************nVisit Our Website: http://www.humanistreport.com/nFollow Us on Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/HumanistReportnLike Us on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/humanistreportnSupport the Show: http://www.humanistreport.com/support.htmlnBecome a Patreon: http://www.patreon.com/humanistreportnDownload Our Podcast on iTunes: https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/humanist-report-podcast-episode/id1012568597?i=345667843&mt=2nn************************nHelp Us Grow by Using These Links to Shop (We Earn Commission):nSupport Us by Shopping on Amazon!
