Ask just about anybody which gold medal moment they remember best from the 1996 Summer Games in Atlanta and they'll likely say it was Kerri Strug's famous vault - following a painful ankle injury - that clenched the gold for the U.S. Women's gymnastics team. We've all seen the famous video and photos of legendary coach Bela Karolyi carrying the diminutive Strug up to receive her medal. But few have heard the play-by-play account from their point-of-view. Hear what really happened, including the unusual sequence of events, and the surprising thought that was going through Kerri's head when she accepted her gold medal with her team. Featuring interview clips from athletes Ariel Hsing, April Ross, and 1984 Gold Medalist Mary Lou Retton. Less

Hi Family... Sherry here...I have a very quick question for you today then I'll be out of your way. Do you believe in what you are doing...what you have to say...your passion...your calling to do it even if it means doing it for an audience of one? I ask that question as a result of an interview I saw recently between renouned online Blogger Ty Tribble and the young rising online star Vincent Ortega, Jr. In that interview Ty Tribble said something that strug a cord with me. He shared how when he went online, built his first Blog and got started, he noticed something interesting. He had one visiter that kept coming to his blog everyday. Only one, but it was because of that one that Ty Tribble kept blogging. He felt 'obligated' to continue with his dream even if it meant only one person would benefit from it? He later realized that the one visiter that kep showing up everyday...was himself. But by that time his blog had begun to catch on and he is now a hugely successful online blogger/internet marketer who is sought after by many. What would have happened to Ty's destiny if he had known that he was, in fact, his only visiter. It would be easy to say today given the degree of his success that, of course, he would have continued on. But, truth is, the chances are high that the discouragement of that knowledge could have very easily killed his dream...forever. Ty, like most of us online, believes he has a calling for what he does much higher than just meeting the monthly ... Less
