Paul Underhill Terra Firma Farm, Winters, CA Since the late 1980s, partners Paul Holmes, Paul Underhill, and Hector Melendez-Lopez have produced a wide variety of CCOF certified organic vegetables, fruits, and nuts year-round on 200 acres of the world's best soils on both sides of Putah Creek in Winters, California. Their farm feeds 1300 families within 100 miles through a CSA, and supplies select natural foods retailers and distributors between Sacramento and San Francisco, with the help of their fifty full time employees.
