This report found that African-American male students are 3.5 times more likely to be suspended or expelled from school than their White peers. According to the OCR report, African-American male students made up only 18% of the students in the data sample, but represent 35% of the students suspended once, 46% of those suspended more than once, and 39% of students expelled.nnThis webinar series is especially designed for county office of education staff, district administrators, school counselors, principals, and teacher leaders. Sous le soleil frileux de Brest, le TGV Paris-Brest de 18h débarque quatre individus. Model 500, un petit morceau de Detroit, mais surtout un pan entier de la techno, vient de poser ses valises en Bretagne pour le week-end. De gauche à droite : DJ Skurge et sa petite bouille sympa, Mark Taylor et son éternel foulard vissé sur le crâne, mais surtout Mad Mike, figure emblématique de la Motor City et d'Underground Resistance, collectif fondateur de l'esprit de Detroit depuis ses premiers faits d'armes en 1989. Derrière eux, emmitouflé dans sa grosse parka rouge, l'homme au coeur de ce boys band sauce Michigan : Juan Atkins, "The Originator". C'est lui qui a créé ce projet il y a plus de trois décennies, mais qui a surtout eu l'excellente idée de s'entourer de ses frères d'armes pour le transposer sur scène, pour un live à huit mains. L'événement est de taille : dans 24 heures, le Quartz, Scène nationale de Brest, accueille l'une des seules dates de Model 500 en ce début d'année, au moment où sort leur album Digital Solutions. Seize ans que les puristes attendaient ce retour. C'est aussi et surtout le prétexte idéal pour fêter les 30 ans du label Metroplex, fondé par monsieur Atkins. Detroit-Brest. Entre villes anéanties par l'Histoire, on semble se comprendre. Samedi 24 janvier 2015, 20h30. Acte deux. Le rideau du Quartz se lève. Le millier de personnes présent dans la salle bouillonne. Five Leaves Left, recorded in 1969, was the first of three albums by British folk musician Nick Drake. Like Bryter Layter but unlike Pink Moon, this album contains no unaccompanied songs. Drake was accompanied by members of the British folk-rock groups Fairport Convention and Pentangle. Five Leaves Left was ranked 85th in a 2005 survey held by British television's Channel 4 to determine the 100 greatest albums of all time. In 2003, the album was ranked number 280 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.
