I photographed Mandi in Bushwick, Brooklyn in 2010. It was part of a story on me that AOL did, for their website called "asylum." Nope, it's no longer around. But Amanda is. I am. This shoot was a bit different for me, as we took the risk of shooting out on a public street, which is technically against the law. One can be topless in New York City legally, but not completely nude. Oh well. Passersby seemed to like it. Mandi (Amanda) is one of my favorite models, due to her infectious smile, curly hair, and amazing body. I never get tired of seeing it. I hope you won't either, as I have several other shoots with Mandi that I have yet to post. I hope this inspires you to photograph other women naked outside. Unless of course you are in Saudi Arabia. Or if you do, make sure the Prince is ok with it. The Prince of Brooklyn was very happy with a Naked Happy Mandi :)   Less

"There is no inside/outside, there is nothing that is masked, so everything that you get is doing all that you expect from architecture. In that sense it's a very honest or very archaic architecture."nnHerzog & de Meuron's Pérez Art Museum Miami opened to the public last week in downtown Miami and accommodates 3000 square-metres of galleries within a three-storey complex with a huge elevated veranda.nnA car park is on show beneath the building, while a single roof shelters both indoor and outdoor spaces.nn"Typologically you could say that this is a building built on stilts," says the architect. "Layers end with a trellis-like roof and start with a platform which is also kind of a trellis, under which you can park your car and that also is open to the elements. Literally everything is visible, is part of the whole."nnThe architect describes how galleries were designed to open out to the veranda so that "landscape would walk inside the building".nn"We wanted to do buildings that are transparent or permeable, so that inside/outside would not be a strict barrier," he explains.nnExhibition galleries occupy the two lower floors of the museum and were organised to encourage a fluid transition between spaces.nn"The special concept of the museum is this kind of sequence of spaces, which are more fluid," says Herzog. Yes, I'm lucky to have her, as well as a big boat to cruise around on, under the Golden Gate Bridge. We also went by Alcatraz later. Needless to say it was a fun afternoon on the water. Tourists seemed to enjoy it all too...n Take your time on this one. Let Cody and her beautiful smile, infectious laugh, amazing tanned body and nice feet with tattoos, warm you up a bit. This shoot reminds me a bit of Iris, who I filmed on a boat in front of the Statue of Liberty. Both women have prominent spreads in my "Naked Coast to Coast" book. No pun intended.
