Britain’s Duke and Duchess of Cambridge played a charity cricket match with underprivileged children in Mumbai on Sunday, the first day of a week-long tour of India that will include a trip to the isolated Himalayan kingdom of Bhutan. Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton flew into India’s financial capital and met children from Magic Bus, Childline and Doorstep – three non-governmental organisations that work with children. They took an open-top bus tour and played a cricket match with a team from a local cricket academy and kids backed by the three charities. The royal couple, travelling without children George and Charlotte, were due to attend a Bollywood-inspired charity gala on Sunday night amid speculation that Kate may appear in a sari from a top Indian fashion designer. William and Kate’s tour takes in New Delhi, where they will lunch with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a wildlife park in Assam famed for its one-horned rhinos, and Bhutan. Their tour ends back in India next Saturday at the Taj Mahal, revisiting the scene of a solo – and much photographed – visit in 1992 by William’s mother, the late Princess Diana, to the monument to love. Women stripped down topless on a highway in the Nizhny Novgorod region of Russia on Monday in the hopes of persuading drivers to keep the speed limit. When they noticed a car rushing at a speed exceeding 60 km/h (40 mph), the maximum speed allowed in Russian cities, the half-naked women raised road signs reading '60' or '40'. Most of the speeding drivers turned out to be men, who immediately slowed down to admire the bare female figures. The public organisation 'Autodvijenie' from Nizhny Novgorod organised the flash mob ahead of a September 1 law change that will mean drivers are only fined for exceeding the speed limit by 20 km/h, instead of 10 km/h like previously. According to statistics provided by the official Russian traffic police, 203,597 road accidents occurred in Russia in 2012, in which 27,991 people died and 258,618 were injured. Additionally, Russian drivers broke the rules 59,617,222 times in 2012, very often by exceeding speed limits. Less

Several activists gathered in Washington DC on Sunday to protest against the unequal treatment of men and women when it comes to going topless in public places. The group started their march at the White House and concluded at Capitol Hill. Women exercised their right to be topless by walking shirtless, while some men wore stripes on their chest as a symbolic protest. This was sixth international GoTopless Day. Actions were encouraged throughout the United States and across the world, with registered protests being put on a "boob map". The activists are committed to the principle that women have the same constitutional right that men have to go bare-chested in public. The date bears significance as it is the day before Women's Equality Day, which falls on August 26. Less

C/U Boobs bikini C/U T-shirt SCRIPT Chicago residents Robyn Graves and Michelle Lytle have come up with a way for women to express their displeasure at rules preventing them going topless at the beach, without having to bare their breasts illegally. The Tata Top is a skin-tone bikini top with false nipples, capable of dodging any prohibition on the exhibition of female organs that may be in place. The top was inspired by the Free the Nipple campaign, which argues that women should have the same right as men to go topless in hot weather.
