I'm replicating a Hot Wheels paintjob on my 10th scale RC car. Adding a few custom touches, I try to make the Hot Wheels theme flow together nicely with the base I have for this body. I'm sticking to primary colours, with a few tiny twists here and there. The windows on this shell will not be tinted, to ensure visibility of the interior.nnMy buddy Adumb from www.bajaaddicts.com posted a link to the Axial Racing blog on the forum a long time ago, where a Pro-Line VW Baja shell for the Traxxas Slash gets adapted to fit the rollcage of the Axial Exo Terra. A real appealing look, and after having used my Axial in the original shape for almost a year, it's time I put this conversion to the test, and make a few tweaks of my own.nnI'm starting from a kit version of the Exo Terra, while the car used in the blog is a RTR. There are a few differences to keep in mind: The RTR does not come with an interior, the moulded engine in the back or the Griffin radiator, and it doesn't have a lightbar. All these parts do come with the kit, so taking a kit as a base will save you quite a bit of work since most of the ingredients are already available.nnOpposed to the vehicle built in the blog, I found I could use a bare minimum of parts to make this conversion possible. The only thing that's truly necessary is the Traxxas battery brace with the metal posts, parts number #3727AnnClick the following link to be directed to the Axial blog post where the Exo Terra gets a new appearance:nhttp://www.axialracing.com/blog_posts/1073900433nnIf you have any questions or comments, feel free to leave me a message.nnFor more information about HemiStorm Products feel free to join us on FaceBook:nhttps://www.facebook.com/pages/HemiStorm-Products/236585496380241nnTo visit the HemiStorm website and have a look at the products we develop for largescale RC cars, click the following link:nhttp://www.hemistorm.com/nnFor HemiStorm RC Clothing, click the following link:nhttp://www.twostrokerc.com/...nnIntro music purchased at Productiontrax.comnLicense Option B: Commercial, for-profit, distribution, or broadcast, all Packages, and Photos Less
