You can get a nice video security system for $50 or less. In the video, I use DLINK as an example, as I'm familiar with them. They're good cameras. The pan and tilt camera you'll see in the video was actually dropped in a sink full of water, while it was on. All I did was unplug and let it dry out for a couple days and it still works (though the color is a little off, but who cares) After you invest in a camera, either get an on-site DVR (which I don't recommend as your primary recording device). I suggest auto saving the video files to a website server (through ftp). You can get one for a couple dollars a month, in some cases, you can find free hosting with ample disk space and bandwidth). Regardless, if anything ever happens, you've got it on video. If you're lucky, you'll catch a meteor, an accident, or some hot naked chick running down the street - any of which will make a great LiveLeak feature! At times, the audio has some static in it. I'd re-record it, but I'm fat, lazy and don't give a fuck. Enjoy. #financial_support_div{ display:none; position: absolute; width:300px; height:180px; margin-left: -150px; margin-top: -70px; /*- half of width and height */ top:50%; left:50%; padding: 5px; opacity:0.9; filter:alpha(opacity=90); z-index:1000; background-color:#000; color: white; } .close_box{ background: gray; color:#fff; padding:1px 3px; display:inline; position:absolute; right:1px; margin-right: -13px; margin-top: -13px; border-radius:3px; cursor:pointer; border: 1px #000 solid; } $(document).on("click",".close_box",function(){ $(this).parent().fadeTo(300,0,function(){ $(this).remove(); }); }); Loading the player ...
