How does soul perceive its incarnations? It sees them as threads going off into various dimensions, some of which may be associated with the Earth plane. The other ends of those threads span the full timeline over which soul is incarnating on Earth, so to soul, there is only now. To your soul, lifetimes in ancient Greece are just as happening as your current lifetime or one occurring 2,000 years in the future. This also means that not all your co-incarnations are human; some may be very unhuman, existing in weird dimensions and on different planets. So much for being afraid of ETs; at the soul level, we are the ETs!nnTo soul, you appear as a thoughtform of itself, yet outside itself, and soul holds these forms so powerfully, they become real.nnHow aware is soul of our daily lives? One hundred percent. Through those threads, which are what we've been calling "spirit", every minute detail is relayed back to soul, so that it sees, hears, and feels everything. In return, soul is pouring energy, thoughts and insights back across the veil, which some of us perceive very clearly, while others only dimly if at all. Ideally, it's a two-way communicate-link, but the receiver at your end is often turned off.nnSoul also fully understands 3D (time, money, etc.), so you can't complain that, "My soul just doesn't get how hard things are down here". Quite the contrary. If your life or some part of it isn't working according to your perspective, you can be sure it most certainly is working from soul's perspective...otherwise your life would change. What feels to your personality as hardship is merely wisdom-gathering to soul, as the latter garners data on how you're handling the situation. You could cry 'foul' and play victim-interesting response to a situation. Or you could take responsibility for introducing the Challenges and marshal your Resources (including those in higher dimensions) to deal with it-just more data to soul. nnThrough its distortions and self-imposed limitation, ego is responsible for most if not all those hardships-something that soul allows-but why does soul allow ego to manifest painful experiences? Again, wisdom gathering. Why and how you do what you do is of great interest to soul, so soul allows your limitations as teaching tools for you (during your life review) and for its other incarnations to learn from. nnWhen soul feels that enough has been gleaned from a situation, it will trigger an outside change or will foster an internal change by hurling an impulse for change at you. It's then up to you to grab the ball and run with it. Again, if and how you do that is just more interesting data to soul. nnThis may sound as if soul is some behind-the-scenes, heartless, uncaring data-gatherer, while you're the one who is on the front line, in the trenches, getting shot at. But remember, you are that soul, so it is really doing it to itself, while the complaining ego is merely an illusion. You can only feel pain and fear if you see yourself as separate from soul.nnThe whole point is to wake up and see yourself as soul. Soul doesn't know pain and fear, so once you erase the duality and separation, you are soul and get to bathe in joy and bliss. You are just one thought away from that experience, one tiny thought that could leap the perceived gulf between you-the-ego and you-the-soul. nnYour job, then is to look at life through soul's eyes rather than those of ego. To see life as an exploration of unconditional love and compassion.nnThus we move to an impersonal yet spiritual life, free of attachments and the need to editorialize on content. The mind is peacefully aware yet uninvolved. Ego's obsession with content gives way to soul's obervation and nonattachment. The clouds magically dissolve and we can bask in the infinite warmth and joy of soul.nnThe source is "Living With Soul Volume Two" by Tony Stubbs Less
