I guess this is what happens when friends and family (San Dieguito Family) get the opportunity to get together to play a few songs that shaped their youth. Btw, 35 years ago my girlfriend, now my wonderful wife, told me that if one was going to be a teacher, the high school she graduated from, San Dieguito High School, was tops. In her words it was a special place where magic happened. I thought, "Well, we all think our high school was the best." Only, she was right. It was not an accident that this school, home of Rob Machado, Eddie Vedder, Tony Hawk, Switchfoot, etc. has produced so many amazing individuals. There has been an attitude here; perhaps it is a willingness to try, to fail, and to try again; perhaps it is a sense that things really are possible. Whatever it is, I am so grateful for the opportunity to have been a small part of this wonderful school and to be able to watch; ne, participate in some of the many, many awesome things it has helped spawn.
