Hey LiveLeak, I've been called a liar...by a noob. It finally gave me the incentive to revisit a time in my life when I worked as a Correctional Officer for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice - Institutional Division at the Ferguson Unit. It's actually something I've been wanting to do for a long time. I worked in High Security on what was called the "hard-head blocks" - C&D, M&N, Ad Seg, and Solitary Confinement. Most wings had one officer and a picket officer who worked the cell doors, with rovers in the main hallway who would respond when there was trouble...we only had 27 officers. I could tell you horror stories about the fights, riots, stabbings, murders, suicides, and enough blood that I even knew how to smell it in the air...but I would rather let the inmates and their family members tell you instead...don't want to be called a liar. I've included an extra video, a news report, and a Texas Appellate Court ruling describing the place that I worked at, and what took place in High Security. Peace LL. #financial_support_div{ display:none; position: absolute; width:300px; height:140px; margin-left: -150px; margin-top: -70px; /*- half of width and height */ top:50%; left:50%; padding: 5px; opacity:0.9; filter:alpha(opacity=90); z-index:1000; background-color:#000; color: white; } .close_box{ background: gray; color:#fff; padding:1px 3px; display:inline; position:absolute; right:1px; margin-right: -13px; margin-top: -13px; border-radius:3px; cursor:pointer; border: 1px #000 solid; } $(document).on("click",".close_box",function(){ $(this).parent().fadeTo(300,0,function(){ $(this).remove(); }); }); Loading the player ...
