Canada Mass Shooting 2014nPolice say Cyndi Duong, 37, was shot in the home. It’s unclear what ties her to the suspect and the other crime scenes.nDuong and her husband, David Luu, had three children ages six to 13. According to neighbours, a grandmother also lived at the house — government documents list a 59-year-old woman, Huong Lam, as a resident at the home.nThe two-storey house is on a quiet cul-de-sac in the Haddow neighbourhood of southwest Edmonton. It backs onto a stormwater pond. Luu and Duong took out a mortgage in June 2009 for $655,000.nMinraj Chawla, 12, said he played street hockey all summer with the couple’s oldest son. He and his mother Dimple Chawla, said they didn’t know when the family moved to Canada, but only the grandmother struggled with English.nDecals on the back of the new Toyota SUV parked in the driveway describe a family of three, with an oldest son who loves hockey and a mother who loves to shop.nOn Wednesday morning, a small memorial with a red heart, pink flowers and a handful of candles was outside the home on Haswell Court. Four cars were parked outside the home, and the man who answered the door would not comment on the deaths. Two women later came out of the house with the man, loaded the trunks of the cars with belongings and drove away.nMost neighbours said they didn’t know the family and didn’t didn’t see or hear anything unusual on Monday night.nLiz Fulton-Lyne lives a few doors down from the house. Her daughter sometimes plays with one of the sons, who she said is about 13, but she didn’t know the parents.nnThe owner of It’s All About Kids Daycare downtown said all three of Cyndi Duong’s children, two boys and a girl, attended the downtown facility from 2002 to 2011. nnDuong’s daughter left the daycare in 2011, said Heather Ratsoy. Most children leave before starting kindergarten around age five. nn“When I found out we knew part of the family, it hit me really hard,” Ratsoy said. nn“The kids were awesome, dad was awesome, Cyndi was awesome. We didn’t get to see her as often because she worked in the opposite direction, so he would bring the kids mostly, but they always attended all the events.” nnRatsoy believes Cyndi Duong’s husband David Luu worked for the city. nn“They were very active … They were happy kids and they interacted. They were a great family. Dad stopped in and we chatted all the time,” she said. nn“I can’t believe it because if the children were there when it happened … It’s really sad, just really sad.” nnIt’s unclear what ties the family to the gruesome homicide scene in north Edmonton. But it seems someone at the house recognized the shooter Monday night. At that time, police said they had information on the suspect but he was not in custody.nnA two-storey home in the north end where seven people were found dead Monday night is owned by a financially strapped Vietnamese couple, documents show.nnSources tell the Journal that investigators have identified one of the home’s owners, Phu Lam, 53, as the suspect in the eight killings. Lam owned the house with Thuy-Tien “Tien” Truong.nnPolice said the suspect was the one found dead in a Fort Saskatchewan restaurant.nnThe crime scene is a home in the Klarvatten neighbourhood at 18024 83rd St. A tax assessment pegged its value at $400,000. Lam and Truong took out a $365,000 mortgage in July 2012 through Royal Bank.nnThanh Nguyen, a friend who stopped by the home Tuesday afternoon, described Lam as “a really nice guy,” but noted that “the family had trouble, problems.”nnCourt documents show a judgment of $25,000 had been issued against Truong, 35, after she was sued by the Royal Bank in 2013. Lam filed a bankruptcy proposal in February 2013.nLam had retired, said Nguyen. His ex-wife owns a Fort Saskatchewan restaurant.nPolice said three women, two men and two children were found dead in the home. It’s unclear exactly who those victims are. Neighbours say a couple lived in the home with two children, a boy around age eight and a toddler, as well as an elderly woman.nOne of the children was Lam’s, said Nguyen; the other was from his partner’s previous relationship.nShattered glass and a heavy police presence surrounded a popular Vietnamese restaurant in Fort Saskatchewan Tuesday.nnVN Express at 10213 100 Ave. is legally owned by Chau Duong Thi Tran, a 59-year-old Edmonton woman. Gerald "Gerry" Rafferty (16 April 1947 -- 4 January 2011) was a Scottish singer-songwriter best known for his solo hits "Baker Street" and "Right Down the Line", and with the band Stealers Wheel, "Stuck in the Middle with You". Rafferty was born into a working-class family in Paisley, Renfrewshire, Scotland. His mother taught him both Irish and Scottish folk songs as a boy; later, he was influenced by the music of The Beatles and Bob Dylan. He joined the folk-pop group The Humblebums in 1969. After they disbanded in 1971, he recorded his first solo album, Can I Have My Money Back? Rafferty and Joe Egan formed the group Stealers Wheel in 1972, producing several hits, most notably "Stuck in the Middle with You". In 1978, he recorded his second solo album, City to City, which included "Baker Street", his most popular song.nnCity to CitynnnLegal issues after the break-up of Stealers Wheel meant that, for three years, Rafferty was unable to release any material. After the disputes were resolved in 1978, he recorded his second solo album, City to City, with producer Hugh Murphy, which included the song with which he remains most identified, "Baker Street". According to Murphy, interviewed by Billboard in 1993, he and Rafferty had to beg the record label, United Artists, to release "Baker Street" as a single: "They actually said it was too good for the public. It was a good call: the single reached #3 in the UK and #2 in the US. The album sold over 5.5 million copies, toppling the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack in the US on 8 July 1978. Rafferty considered this his first proper taste of success, as he told Melody Maker the following year: "...all the records I've ever done before have been flops. Stealers Wheel was a flop. 'Can I Have My Money Back?' was a flop. The Humblebums were a flop... My life doesn't stand or fall by the amount of people who buy my records. "Baker Street" featured a distinctive saxophone solo played by Raphael Ravenscroft, although the origins of the solo have been disputed. As the singer recalled in a 1988 interview with Colin Irwin: "When I wrote the song I saw that bit as an instrumental part but I didn't know what. We tried electric guitar but it sounded weak, and we tried other things and I think it was Hugh Murphy's suggestion that we tried saxophone.nnAlcoholismnnRafferty had always enjoyed alcohol, and early songs, such as "One Drink Down", "Baker Street", and "Night Owl", freely mention the subject. He told friends that his alcoholism dated back to his childhood, though even people close to him had no idea how it would come to dominate his life. Martha Rafferty believes her father started drinking heavily to cope with the pressures of playing on stage, but says his problem "wasn't obvious" for many years. According to Michael Gray, the singer's personal manager in the early 1980s: "It never occurred to me in all the time I knew him that he was heading for alcoholism. Maybe I should have realised, but I didn't. I'm unsure whether he did. As the 1980s progressed, Rafferty's growing drinking problem placed his marriage under impossible strain and his wife divorced him in 1990, though they remained close. In 1995, Rafferty was deeply affected by the death of his older brother Joseph, an event from which family and friends have said he never fully recovered.nnDeathnnIn November 2010, Rafferty was admitted to the Royal Bournemouth Hospital where he was put on a life-support machine and treated for multiple organ failure. After being taken off life support, Rafferty rallied for a short time, and it seemed that he might recover. Rafferty died at his daughter Martha's home in Stroud, Gloucestershire on 4 January 2011, of liver failure. A Requiem Mass was held for Rafferty at St Mirin's Cathedral in his native town of Paisley on Friday 21 January 2011. The service was streamed live over the Internet. Politicians in attendance were the First Minister of Scotland the Right Honorable Alex Salmond MSP, Wendy Alexander MSP, Hugh Henry MSP, and Robin Harper MSP. The musicians present included Craig and Charlie Reid of The Proclaimers, former bandmates Joe Egan and Rab Noakes, Barbara Dickson, and Graham Lyle. The eulogy was given by Rafferty's longtime friend John Byrne. His remains were then cremated at the Woodside Crematorium in Paisley and his ashes scattered on the island of Iona. It's football time and like all college teams across the country, this team is out to win.n nLeading this pack of Badgers is one very large lineman. He's number 74, Garett Bolles, 22, a 6 foot 6 inch, 305 pound offensive lineman who packs a heavy punch. He's so good in fact, that he is one of the most recruited junior college players in the country right now with some 18 offers.nn"You don't find guys that are that big, that are that athletic," said Badger head football coach Mitt Maughan.n nGetting to this point was a difficult and painful road for Bolles. In fact it's amazing this kid is even playing football at all, and not locked away somewhere.n n"I was a troubled teen," said Bolles.nnThat is putting it nicely. Bolles was kicked out of or suspended from five schools during his teenage years. He got into drugs and alcohol and committed crime, even spending some time behind bars.n n"You name it. I've done it." he said. "I got pretty bad. I affiliated myself with some gangs."nnAccording to Bolles he was heading, "down the wrong path to prison."nnLife got so bad at home, that after his senior year in high school, Bolles’ own father kicked him out of the house.n n"There was constantly trouble and chaos," said Bolles' father Grove who said the pressures of his career, a divorce and his family all came together at that same time.nn"I finally had enough…one day I just came home and there was a bunch of the characters in the house and I said you know what we are just done. I can't do this anymore. You are not helping. It's time to leave."n n"Basically said, 'You're done. You're not really a part of this family right now," said Garett Bolles.n nIt was a Friday afternoon. August 26, 2011 when Garrett found himself kicked out of his house and standing on the side of the street with nowhere to go. All he had was a couple of duffle bags with clothes.n nThat's when Greg Freeman, a neighbor, happened to be driving by and stopped to check on Garett.nn"I knew exactly what happened," said Freeman with emotion. Freeman said he knew of the trouble within the Bolles home and figured Garett's dad had had enough.n n"I had tears down my face; Sort of angry, sort of lost basically. I said, 'I'm homeless," said Garett. Freeman called his wife Emily.n n"My first thought was to pray, so I hung up the phone and I just knelt down," said Emily Freeman. "A really strong confirmation came: bring him home. So I called Greg and said pack up his stuff and bring him home…the God I believe in gives people second chances."n nAnd that's exactly what they gave Garett.nn"They picked me up and told me I have one shot to live."n nThe Freeman's were no strangers to Garett. They were neighbors and knew of his troubled past. Greg Freeman had coached Garett in Lacrosse.n n"He was notorious in the neighborhood," said Emily. "Police were out here all the time." But Emily says there was something about Garett that made her believe in the boy.n n"From the very first time Garett and I ever talked, I saw inside of him someone who was so good, but was trapped by circumstances that were outside of his control," said Emily.nnAnd that's the same reason why Greg Freeman says he stopped his car: Garett's heart.nn"Garett and I have big hearts we are kind of a lot alike. That's why."n n"I never felt so much joy in my life. I always knew these people were good people in my life but when they told me to come live with them I knew this is my family," said Garett.nnGarett joined the family of six like another son. In fact, he wasted no time calling Emily and Greg mom and dad.nn"She's my mom," said Garett.nnBut there were very strict rules and conditions set into place, which included dumping all his friends, checking his phone in at night and having a curfew.n nWith the help of neighbors the Freemans also set up a tutoring schedule where a variety of mothers would come into the home to help him with his school work.n n"It took a year and a half to watch it happen. There would be really good days and there were really bad days," said Emily.nnGarett would later serve an LDS mission to Colorado, which he says was another major turning point in his life.nn"It was like I was reborn again because of this family and what they did for me," he said.n nAnd that is why Garett is such a fan of the movie, “The Blind Side.” Less

Additionally, Kenny Kerner wrote the group's lyrics, and acted as their producer and manager. Their debut album was released on Kama Sutra Records in 1971, followed by a sophomore release on the same label the following year. Without any intensions of creating the revolutionary, we try to create simple, authentic rock music, inspired by the energetic and melodic punk music, the attitude of the grunge scene and the sound of the alternative rock. Broadway Killers is a classic rock band, where only the sound of the rough vocals, the Orange Amp, the Ampeg cabinet and Rogers drums will hit your ears. rnrnThe last seven years the band members have been in different bands and a part of the talented Danish and German underground scene. Altogether we have played more than 700 shows all over the world, headlining and supporting bands like Billy Talent, Bad Religion, Millencollin, Fall Out Boy, Real Big Fish and Beatsteaks. rnrnIn the fall of 2010 we got together to record our debut EP, "Broadway Killers", which was released the 1st of March 2011. The second EP, "Broadway Killers (The Blue EP)", was recorded the same month and released the 22nd of September 2011. We are currently in the studio to record the third EP, "Broadway Killers (The Red EP)". All recordings have been done together with the talented producer and musician Jacob Bredahl. rnrnThe recording processes and chemistry between band and producer has been so giving that Jacob Bredahl will produce the album. However, this time we want to go to the countryside to be in solitude when recording the album. We found a nice studio on one of the islands south of Copenhagen where no one lives. This will be the off set for the recordings of our very first album. rnrnOur plan is to record the debut album in about a year from now, not long after the release of our third EP. This is to keep the fan base growing and to keep the records coming. That is also why we continuously keep touring - even though it's only weekends or prolonged weekends. Berkeley was born to stage actress Gertrude Berkeley. Among Gertrude's friends were actress Amy Busby and actor William Gillette, then only four years away from playing Sherlock Holmes. Gertrude apparently named her son after both Busby and Gillette after they agreed to be the boy's godparents. The boy was named Busby Berkeley William Enos.nnIn addition to her stage work, Gertrude played mother roles in silent films while Berkley was still a child. Berkeley made his stage debut at five, acting in the company of his performing family. During World War I, Berkeley served as a field artillery lieutenant. Watching soldiers drill may have inspired his later complex choreography. During the 1920s, Berkeley was a dance director for nearly two dozen Broadway musicals, including such hits as A Connecticut Yankee. As a choreographer, Berkeley was less concerned with the terpsichorean skill of his chorus girls as he was with their ability to form themselves into attractive geometric patterns. Kennedy, then running for the Democratic party's presidential nomination, interrupted his Indiana campaign schedule to visit the Day Nursery Association of Indianapolis (http://www.daynursery.org/) at 542 Lockerbie St., near the museum home of poet James Whitcomb Riley, the "Hoosier Keats."nnKennedy had an extraordinary relationship with children and his touching encounter with those at the daycare was memorialized by photographers, television and print reporters, including the talented David Murray, whose article, "Poignant Lull in RFK Campaign," was published in the "Chicago Sun-Times" on May 1, 1968, excerpted below:nn"At first, there was no joy at all on the faces of the dozen or so five year olds in the tiny, dirty playground at the day nursery.nn"They stared with wide, solemn eyes through the old Cyclone fence topped with drooping barbed wire at Robert F. Kennedy, who had walked a hundred feet down the street Tuesday to see them as they stood in their cage.nn"Tentatively, they poked their fingers at him through the fence, and he pushed his fingers back at them and there was a smile or two, on both sides. But the children didn't quite know what to make of this man who was surrounded by all the other people with the cameras and microphones and tape recorders and notebooks.nn"When he started talking to them, you could hardly hear what he said, it was so soft, and his eyes changed from those of a presidential candidate to something else. They said it was mostly for children of broken homes and that the ones here were all five-year-olds from different parts of the city.nn"So Kennedy stopped with the children for a minute, and after they got to know him a bit better, the man who wants to be president pushed open a gate and went inside and hunkered down and talked to them some more. The television cameras and microphones were there, but that didn't make any difference to the children.nn"Some of them continued to slide down the sliding board or climb on the jungle gym, but the others clustered around Kennedy, not saying much, some of them, but just trying to hold on to him.nn"Two little girls came up and put their heads against his waist and he put his hands on their heads. And suddenly it was hard to watch, because he had become in that moment the father they did no know or the elder brother who couldn't talk to them or, more important, listen to them, because most elder brothers and most fathers don't know how to listen to five year olds without thinking about other things. ...nn"Gone, for just a moment, was the rhetoric and the playing with audiences and the motorcades and the adulation and the criticism.nn"The word that came on strongest as he sat and listened to the children and made a quiet remark now and then, was the word 'compassion.' A frantic removal reportedly took place inside the drawing room to avoid causing offence to the American couple. A pot plant was also put in place to cover where the plaque would have been. A source told The Sun: 'Imagine the horror when someone spotted the N-word.' The dramatic painting on one of the walls - A page With Two Horses, by Albert Cuyp, from The Royal Collection - features a black servant boy in a landscape from 1660. It is also known as The Negro Page. Mail on Sunday art critic Philip Hensher says the work, from the Golden Age of Dutch painting, would particularly appeal to a History of Art graduate, such as Kate. A Kensington Palace spokesman declined to comment on the reports last night. On Friday, the world was given an unprecedented insight into the world of the royals as the drawing room was seen for the first time since being refurbished. The lavish room was recently redecorated for the couple using £4.5million worth of taxpayers' money although the couple footed the bill for fixtures and furnishing themselves. Its design was more reminiscent of a comfortable country home than a grand, palatial lounge - with floral cushions adorning comfortable looking cream sofas. On the grand black piano sitting behind William and Mr Obama, who looked at ease in each other's company, were intimate family photos and an elaborate bouquet. One of the pictures appeared to be a black and white shot of Kate looking ethereal in white on her wedding day. Another seemed to be a family photo in front of the pyramids. Sitting on the side table beside the Prince and the President, deep in discussion about the anti-poaching and conservation issues they hold dear, was a black and white wildlife book by world renowned photographer Nick Brandt. Brandt's 'regal and mysterious' book - entitled On This Earth, A Shadow Falls - is said to capture the vanishing grandeur of the vanishing beauty of East Africa with wide screen panoramic shots of majestic animals and landscapes. In what could be gracious appreciation of the Obamas' friendship, the room also contained to items the president had presented to little Prince George in the past. The President and his family sent the newborn Prince George a stunning handmade rocking horse as well a blanket made from the finest alpaca wool to celebrate his birth in 2013. Sporting a saddle embossed with the presidential seal, the wooden rocking horse came with a polo mallet with a head made from the branch of an oak tree that once stood on the south lawn of the White House. The fluffy toy dog lying on the hexagonal footstool in the middle of the room was a replica of the Obama family dog, Bo, a Portuguese Water Dog, also gifted to Prince George from the President. Intriguingly, the Royals displayed their thrifty side with their choice of drawing room alcohol. On the couple's drinks tray in the corner of the elegantly decorated room was a 70cl bottle of Smirnoff vodka worth £12, a bottle of Gordon's gin costing £14 and various mixers. October 4, 2016 by BOB BOILEN • We've never done a Tiny Desk Concert that wasn't behind my desk at NPR. But when the White House called and said they were putting on an event called South by South Lawn, a day-long festival filled with innovators and creators from the worlds of technology and art, including music, we jumped at the chance to get involved. We chose Common as the performer and the White House library as the space.nnThis Tiny Desk Concert was a convergence of art and soul, mixing politics with heart. Common's choice of songs dealt with incarceration as the new slavery, imagined a time where women rule the world and honored the man he looked up to all his life, his father. For this occasion Common put together a special six-piece band of close friends that includes the great Robert Glasper, with his eloquent and delicate touch, on keyboards and Derrick Hodge, whose music spans from hip-hop to folk and has made a big imprint on the world of jazz, on bass. Common also asked his longtime friend and collaborator Bilal to sing on two songs. The performance includes three brand new songs, along with one classic, "I Used To Love H.E.R."nnCommon was born on Chicago's South Side and grew up in President Obama's city. His rap career began in the early 1990s, back when he was known as Common Sense, and he's always taken on big ideas without easy answers in his songs, from abortion to social justice to the legacy of hip-hop itself. 25 years later, morality and responsibility continue to play significant roles in his songs. In 2015, he won an Academy Award alongside the singer John Legend for their song "Glory" from the movie Selma.nnCommon told us that he'd been invited to the White House many times before, including by Michelle Obama for a poetry reading back in 2011, but he was thrilled by the prospect of performing his music during Barack Obama's final months as president. Basie is remembered by many who worked for him as being considerate of musicians and their opinions, modest, relaxed, fun-loving, dryly witty, and always enthusiastic about his music. As he summed up the key to his understated style, in his autobiography, "I think the band can really swing when it swings easy, when it can just play along like you are cutting butter".nnOther cultural connections include Jerry Lewis using "Blues in Hoss' Flat" from Basie's Chairman of the Board album, as the basis for his own "Chairman of the Board" routine in the movie The Errand Boy, in which Lewis pantomimed the movements of a corporate executive holding a board meeting. (In the early 1980s, Lewis revived the routine during the live broadcast of one of his Muscular Dystrophy Association telethons). Blues in Hoss' Flat, composed by Basie band member Frank Foster, was also the longtime theme song of San Francisco and New York radio DJ Al "Jazzbeaux" Collins. When the boys opened the toy to play Brandon pressed the keys randomly and loudly. To the contrary, Evan -- who was two and a half years old -- pressed the keys one by one with pauses in between, and listened intently to the sounds coming from the toy. He then pressed the keys again, but this time he turned to his dad and asked "What do you call this?" after pressing each key.nnWhen Evan's love for music became too apparent, the toy keyboard was replaced by an electric piano. Almost immediately he became obsessed with the piano and spent much time playing it. By the time Evan was three, he was able to listen to simple nursery rhymes and play very similar tunes on the piano, at first with one hand and then with both.nnIn December of 2014 Evan received his first piano lesson at VRMA from Ms. Tuong Van Nguyen. He is currently under the tutelage of Miss Claudia Yun Xi (La Palma, CA, USA).nnBesides having perfect pitch, Evan reads and memorizes music pieces incredibly fast. In addition, his ability to compose has amazed his teachers.nnEvan likes to go to local parks, theme parks, and children's museums. It's a common occurrence for Evan to thank his mom/dad when they give him a packet of math problems to solve. Evan is always eager and ready to learn.nnAbove all else, Evan loves to compose. Wanda Jackson was only halfway through high school when, in 1954, country singer Hank Thompson heard her on an Oklahoma City radio show and asked her to record with his band, the Brazos Valley Boys. By the end of the decade, Jackson had become one of America's first major female country and rockabilly singers. Jackson was born in Oklahoma, but her father Tom -- himself a country singer who quit because of the Depression -- moved the family to California in 1941. He bought Wanda her first guitar two years later, gave her lessons, and encouraged her to play piano as well. In addition, he took her to see such acts as Tex Williams, Spade Cooley, and Bob Wills, which left a lasting impression on her young mind. Tom moved the family back to Oklahoma City when his daughter was 12 years old. In 1952, she won a local talent contest and was given a 15-minute daily show on KLPR. The program, soon upped to 30 minutes, lasted throughout Jackson's high-school years. It's here that Thompson heard her sing. Jackson recorded several songs with the Brazos Valley Boys, including "You Can't Have My Love," a duet with Thompson's bandleader, Billy Gray. The song, on the Decca label, became a national hit, and Jackson's career was off and running. She had wanted to sign with Capitol, Thompson's label, but was turned down, so she signed with Decca instead. Jackson insisted on finishing high school before hitting the road. When she did, her father came with her. Her mother made and helped design Wanda's stage outfits. "I was the first one to put some glamour in the country music -- fringe dresses, high heels, long earrings," Jackson said of these outfits. When Jackson first toured in 1955 and 1956, she was placed on a bill with none other than Elvis Presley. The two hit it off almost immediately. Jackson said it was Presley, along with her father, who encouraged her to sing rockabilly. In 1956, Jackson finally signed with Capitol, a relationship that lasted until the early '70s. Her recording career bounced back and forth between country and rockabilly; she did this by often putting one song in each style on either side of a single. Jackson cut the rockabilly hit "Fujiyama Mama" in 1958, which became a major success in Japan. Her version of "Let's Have a Party," which Elvis had cut earlier, was a U.S. Top 40 pop hit for her in 1960, after which she began calling her band the Party Timers. A year later, she was back in the country Top Ten with "Right or Wrong" and "In the Middle of a Heartache." In 1965, she topped the German charts with "Santa Domingo," sung in German. In 1966, she hit the U.S. Top 20 with "The Box It Came In" and "Tears Will Be the Chaser for Your Wine." Jackson's popularity continued through the end of the decade. Jackson toured regularly, was twice nominated for a Grammy, and was a big attraction in Las Vegas from the mid-'50s into the '70s. She married IBM programmer Wendell Goodman in 1961, and instead of quitting the business -- as many women singers had done at the time -- Goodman gave up his job in order to manage his wife's career. He also packaged Jackson's syndicated TV show, Music Village. In 1971, Jackson and her husband became Christians, which she says saved their marriage. She released one gospel album on Capitol in 1972, Praise the Lord, before shifting to the Myrrh label for three more gospel albums. In 1977, she switched again, this time to Word Records, and released another two. In the early '80s, Jackson was invited to Europe to play rockabilly and country festivals and to record. She's since been back numerous times. More recently, American country artists Pam Tillis, Jann Browne, and Rosie Flores have acknowledged Jackson as a major influence. In 1995, Flores released a rockabilly album, Rockabilly Filly, and invited Jackson, her longtime idol, to sing two duets on it with her. Jackson embarked on a major U.S. tour with Flores later that year. It was her first secular tour in this country since the '70s, not to mention her first time back in a nightclub atmosphere. Jackson returned to the studio in 2010 to begin work on a new album. Produced by Jack White and featuring a band comprised of the White Stripes frontman, his wife Karen Elson, various Raconteurs, My Morning Jacket's Carl Broemel, and a host of others, The Party Ain't Over arrived in early 2011.
