Comedian Gavin McInnes demonstrates "how to fight a baby" in this featured viral video. McInnes’ number one tip for fighting toddlers? Wind, obviously. McInnes can also be seen flipping, tossing, slamming, and even pretending to strangle his baby on a big fluffy bed. Some viewers are not laughing over it though, speaking out on YouTube about the safety issues it presents. No babies were actually harmed during the making of this video, just McInnes- who got a scratch to the eye. Less

Toyota is hoping to finally smooth out the speed bump it hit on its way to becoming one of the world's largest auto companies. A settlement with the U.S. Justice Department ends a criminal probe over the way Toyota handled its biggest recall ever. The Japanese automaker will fork over $1.2 billion for misleading and concealing information tied to American recalls dating back to 2009 - when vehicles sped up without prompting from drivers. It comes with a rare admission of guilt, according to U.S. State Attorney General Eric Holder. SOUNDBITE: U.S. STATE ATTORNEY GENERAL ERIC HOLDER (ENGLISH) SAYING: "As part of the resolution of this case, Toyota will fully admit wrong doing. It will pay a financial penalty of $1.2 billion dollars, and going forward, the company will submit to rigorous review by an independent monitor that will examine and assess the manner in which Toyota regularly reports safety issues to the public and its regulator. This is a 2010 Ford Escape -- it's one of the SUV models Ford is recalling. The company said they're recalling 1.39 million SUVs and sedans in North America, most for the possible loss of power steering. Model years 2011 to 2013 Explorer SUVs, along with 2008 to 2011 Ford Escape and Mercury Mariner SUVs are included in the recall. In addition, Ford is recalling nearly 200,000 Taurus sedans on a corrosion issue. Plus, over 82,000 Ford Fusion, Mercury Milan, Lincoln Zephyr, and Lincoln M-K-Z sedans with floor mats that may interfere with the operation of accelerator pedals. Analysts say automakers are giving heightened scrutiny to safety issues. This, in the wake of General Motors' ongoing crisis that began with an ignition-switch problem in older-model cars. Less

Tourists and hikers visiting Taylor Creek in South Lake Tahoe, California have been discouraged from taking selfie pictures with the wild bears. Tourists and hikers visiting Taylor Creek in South Lake Tahoe, California have been discouraged from taking selfie pictures with the wild bears.Lisa Herron, spokesperson for the Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit, is quoted as saying: “We’ve had mobs of people that are actually rushing toward the bears trying to get a ‘selfie’ photo. It is presenting a safety issue. We are afraid someone is going to get attacked." In Taylor Creek, bears are congregating to hunt for kokanee salmon, which are making their annual visit to the area.Because there are more bears hanging around there during this time of year, visitors can easily spot one of the animals, and many people want to record the experience so they can look back on it, or share the photo with others. The problem is that the bears aren’t afraid to come close to the visitors. One bear cub reportedly came within two feet of a person, when there weren’t any park rangers around to advise people to keep a safe distance. If people don’t heed the warning from wildlife conservation officials, authorities have threatened to limit access to the area. Less
