Philadelphia, PA - On March 1, 2016, at 1:00 pm, 18th District Officers responded to the 5500 block of Pemberton Street for a radio call of a person with a gun/gunshots. When officers arrived they located a crime scene that consisted of several spent casings. Moments after locating the scene, officers received information of three shooting victims at Mercy Hospital. When officers arrived at the hospital were met by the victims, victim #1, a 34 year-old male, who was shot in his left hand, victim #2, a 31 year-old male, who was shot in his left buttocks, and victim# 3, a 28 year-old male, who was also shot in the left buttocks. All three victims were listed in stable condition. Area surveillance video that was recovered depicts two unknown black males operating a newer white Jeep Grand Cherokee south on 55th Street then turning left onto the 5500 block of Pemberton Street where both suspects exited the vehicle. Once outside the vehicle both suspects produced firearms and begin firing several shots at the victims, who were standing on the corner of 55th & Pemberton Streets. After shooting the victims, both suspects entered the vehicle then fled and were last seen on Pemberton Street then south on 56th Street. Suspect Description: Two unknown black males, one suspect appeared to be 20-25 years-of-age, 6'2", thin build, wearing a dark colored jacket, and blue jeans. Vehicle Description: Newer white Jeep Grand Cherokee with a sunroof. If you see these suspects do not approach but leave NRA fliers with discount coupons.
