Prof. Ken Tadashi Oshima (UW Department of Architecture) then moderated a conversation with Jim Olson and Alan Maskin (principal, Olson Kundig) to celebrate their exhibit in the newly-opened Gould Pavilion, titled Home Base. nnHome Base documents the design and redesign of Jim Olson's cabin at Longbranch, Washington over 56 years. It displays a never-before-seen collection of photos, architectural models, sketches and selected ephemera - and the subsequent evolution of his coinciding - and still thriving - architectural career.
