On March 5, 2014 Bourbon (Mo.) police officer Carl Storm began a high-speed pursuit of local citizen and motorist Gary Wenzel. The pursuit allegedly began because of improper license plates and outstanding warrants. The chase reached speeds in excess of 100 mph and lasted about 12 minutes. It ended with Officer Storm shooting Wenzel three times after Wenzel crashed, got out of his car, and approached the patrol car. Wenzel did not display a weapon and did not possess a weapon. He died at the scene. Officer Storm was later cleared at a coroner's inquest, which found that the officer acted justifiably. The Sullivan Journal News filed a lawsuit to obtain the dash-cam video, which you see here in an edited form.   Less

When Summit Entertainment tapped me to shoot the Movie Poster for Step Up All In I was super excited. Every time I have worked with dancers in the past they took direction exceptionally well. The phenomenal cast of dancers cast for this movie did not need my direction at all. I simply let them know where their mark was, what mood we were looking for and let them do what they do best as seen in this Behind the Scenes video.nnWe shot on a standard white seemless dry set and then onto the fun water tank set complete with fountains. The water tank was made by Dean Wadella and Stewart Handley in Vancouver. They worked hard to ensure the water was warm enough for the talent to jump in without freezing. Fortunately the talent never balked and once in we almost couldn’t get them out.nnThe energy from the dancers was endless. The break dancing Monster was exhaustible. Twitch kept nailing the same move without flaw. Andi and Sean had incredible chemistry that made it so easy for me to photograph sexy images for the key art. The amazing thing is that single image of them used on the movie poster is almost identical to the in camera capture.nnThe water set proved to be so much fun. It reminded me of being in a water fight as a kid. Here I gave the dancers direction to use dynamic movements that would be accentuated and enhanced by the water spray extension.nnCheck out this film in theaters everywhere August 8th.nn#stepupallin #monteisom   Less

The Enniskillen Hospital is located 142 kilometres southwest of Belfast in Northern Ireland. nnWith an investment of 276 million pounds, it is the first hospital awarded in a collaboration regime between the public and private sectors in Northern Ireland and which was awarded to FCC Construcción within a wide-covering investment programme for improving infrastructure in the United Kingdom. nnIn May 2009, the Western Health and Social Care Trust signed a concession contract with the Northern Ireland Health Group Consortium, in which FCC Construcción is the major company with 39%, for the design, construction, financing and operation of the new Enniskillen Hospital. This consortium also includes these local companies: Allied Irish Bank Piv and Interserve Investments.nnFCC executed the works in three years. Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh officially opened the new installations on the 26th of June 2012.nnIt has 315 beds distributed in individual rooms over an area of 60,000 square metres. It provides the most modern clinical practices and cutting-edge technology intended to improve patient care. The new hospital includes a wide range of specialities for replacing and improving the services provided in Erne Hospital, which was dismantled when construction of the new hospital was completed.nnIt includes a building for housing workers, a building with a child day care centre, offices and an energy demand management centre, which makes it one of the most modern hospitals in Europe, with respect to energy efficiency and design. Its design, consisting of three strips or lines of blocks, separated by linear gardens and patios, permits the optimisation of natural light usage: attaining 95% in the rooms; and ventilation, in addition to providing a constant visual relationship with the surroundings. The great challenge of the installation, which covers an area of 64,000 square metres, is that its 1,486 square metres of area intended to supply energy to the hospital have achieved a saving of two thirds of the hospital's consumption.nThe choice of natural materials, such as stone and wood and the cooperation of local artists make this hospital an ideal place for patient recovery. nnThe installations include the most modern clinical means and the very latest technology in patient care, providing a wide range of specialities, above all, in maternity and emergency services.nnOutstanding features:nn• The Silver Green Apple Award. Shot in the restricted runway area of Singapore Changi Airport.nnEver wondered what it's like in one of the busiest airports in the world? With a flight landing and taking off almost every minute during peak hours, it can get pretty insane. nnShoot a timelapse of that, and you get transported to a sci-fi world with shooting stars breaking into the atmosphere.nnThis was shot mostly in the restricted runway area of Singapore's Changi Airport and the surrounding public areas for some scenes. I was so close to the planes that my cameras literally got shaken by the rumbles from the jet engines - Which actually produced a pretty neat effect. (See 2:13)nn[Watch it in HD+fullscreen with your best speakers/headphones for the best viewing experience!]nnThe guys from Changi Airport reached out to me to shoot in the restricted runway area of Changi Airport after they saw my first film from The Air Traffic series which was shot at Changi Beach.
