"We weren't asked to leave the store because of the kids, she was upset that I, (Monica Briones) placed two items I didn't want where I didn't get them from ... once she started to immediately scold me I put it where I got it from and asked her to calm down, it wasn't a problem ... then she said some things that were out of line, we decided we weren't going to purchase ANYTHING we put in the basket BUT the bottled water I (Monica Briones) opened when we entered the establishment ... it was when I was paying for the water I asked to get the number to the better business bureau, the manager, and store owner she became extremely irate ... we each have 4 totally awesome children, Holly and myself and trust me when I say they are fully aware there will be consequences if they are unruly ... they have more then structure at home ... they have manners and still teaching them proper etiquette when dealing with worldly issues they have recently been exposed to ... Holly and myself work 2+ jobs to single handily support our own families ... Emmeline Holly Allen posted a video on her Facebook page of possibly thousands of freshly-shorn sheep running down a hill and along a road behind a quad bike. Ms Allen posted the video, taken in Waioeka Gorge in the Gisborne region on January 21, and described the encounter as a "magic moment". During the past week, the video has garnered more than one million views and has been shared 27,900 times as of today. "My favourite video I've ever filmed!! I think?" Ms Allen commented on her post. "Magic moment for me. Make sure you can have the volume on as that's half the fun." Allen can be heard giggling throughout the video as the sheep streamed past her vehicle. "This is wonderful, this is New Zealand," she said in the video. The doctors are angry after being told the contract, which reduces how much they’re paid for working weekends, will be forced through in August after negotiations faltered. One of the those protesting and collecting signatures for a petition, junior doctor Holly Cooper, told reporters: “It’s a very stressful job, high intensity. “And to have the government, particularly our Secretary of State for Health telling us that we’re not listening to you, you’re saying that the contract isn’t suitable and it’s not what you want, but I’m just going to impose it anyway.” Surgical trainee and junior doctor Alex Trevatt said: “In my entire time as a doctor, I’ve never heard so many people say that they are considering either leaving the profession completely or at least leaving the country and going to work somewhere else. The Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt has accused the British Medical Association of refusing to compromise in the battle over the contract. Figures show that junior doctors make up just over 50 percent of all doctors in the National Health Service. Officials say more than 5,000 operations have been cancelled due to the strike. Similar action was also taken in January and February, with participation not seen in decades. Humanoid Robots to pioneer Mars colonisation? Not the script of a sci-fi movie but what could happen in the near future. NASA, in collaboration with four universities (three in Massachusetts and one in Scotland) is developing a kind of biped human-like robot that could be sent to the red planet. The robot is designed to carry out vital tasks in environments deadly to human beings. In the short term, these humanoid robots could venture into disaster areas where human lives would be at risk. “Up in the head, you can see we have a stereo camera pair,” explains professor of computer science Holly Yanco. “We hooked it up to an Oculus Rift, so somebody who’s remotely controlling the robot can see through the robot’s eyes. She also has infrared sensors so that you can have structured light just like Microsoft Connect. Inside the visor is a spinning laser. And then there are other cameras on the body here and lots of touch sensors in the hands as well as the feet.” The time delay in communication between Earth and Mars makes it difficult to use remote controls to direct robots for building work and emergency repairs. So the robots must be autonomous. University scientists and students are currently working to improve the robot’s handling and walking capabilities. Police were alerted to a man who was out of place at the Walmart located on Dunlawton Avenue Saturday. Several witnesses reported a man using his cell phone to take pictures or video of women while they were using the dressing rooms.
