Just before noon a man in his car drove onto two military personnels violently in the parking lot of a national defence building at 320 Boul du Seminaire Nord in St-Jean-sur-Richelieu. He then fled south on Boul du Seminaire and was chased by police who deployed a spike strip on the southbound lanes at the corner of Schubert Street. The driver attempted to avoid the strip but rolled over and crash in a ditch. He then came out of his upside down car with a knife in the hands and police officers opened fire and shot him. He was helped by paramedics on scene and was transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead. Both hit & run pedestrian victims are in hospital one of which is in critical condition and the investigation is ongoing. According to a Facebook page the deceased suspect Martin Couture Rouleau was recently converted into Islam and would have done the act in the name of Allah. During the police pursuit between the two incidents the man allegedly called 911 to declare he had done it ''in the name of Allah''. David Prestano was sentenced to 20 years for this incident which cost the life of the motorcyclist. He struck the MC at approx. 120MPH while the MC was traveling at the posted speed limit of 40MPH. The MC was struck so hard it became embedded in the center of the Honda Accord. The black line you see in the road is from the rear tire of the MC. The driver bailed from his vehicle approx. 1/4 mile south of the crash he then ran about 1 mile south and was located hiding under a palm tree near a golf course. He was spotted by the BCSO helicopter using FLIR. The Honda Accord Passed the first officer at 60MPH then passed the second Officer at 90MPH. Patrick Knetemann, 34, was hit head-on by the unknown driver - believed to be using false plates - who veered onto the opposite side of the road, catapulting him onto the car's bonnet and over the roof. The shattered windscreen and flailing limbs of Patrick can be seen in the harrowing film which was recorded at the end of last month on the outskirts of London. During this morning a serious accident involving two motorcycles and a bulldozer left a dead and another injured person in a village of rural Goianésia in Goiás (170 km from Goiânia). The young Marcos Daniel Alves Pereira of 19 who survived the tragic accident reported our writing that the accident happened on a stretch of highway that is being paved by Agetop (Goiás Agency of Transportation and Works). He and his friend Claudio Alves da Silva of 24 years were on their bikes going to work when the bulldozer working in the work and who was standing suddenly came in their reverse directions. Realizing that the machine was really going in their direction they stopped and tried to get out of the way, and came to think it could be a joke the driver to scare them, when in a quick moment the machine went over the Claudius bike that collided with Mark immediately managed to jump the bike and save. The young Claudio ended up underneath the vehicle and was hit by the rear hooks and the truck's blade. He suffered multiple injuries throughout the body and became even rescued alive by a Corps team of Firemen and Samu, but died en route to hospital. Marcos Daniel suffered only minor injuries. Less
