Pilots from Russia’s Northern Fleet will undergo retraining in 2014 to master the modernized Ilyushin Il-38N anti-submarine aircraft, a military official told journalists Sunday. The first crew has already completed the theoretical part of the program and has begun the practical flight training, said Captain First Rank Vadim Serga, a representative of the Northern Fleet. “The plane has been enhanced with new-generation detachable hydroacoustic and magnetic beacons that surpass their Western counterparts in a range of ways,” he said. The Il-38N can act as a maritime patrol aircraft capable of performing electronic reconnaissance, Serga said. The new aircraft is equipped with the Novella system that allows it to detect targets from up to 320 kilometers away, including radar-equipped submarines, ships and aircraft. The Novella system comprises a high-resolution thermal imager and sensors for detecting magnetic anomalies, along with other sensors that allow it to locate submarines and surface targets, as well as to carry out scientific research, Serga said. The Novella is a variation of the Sea Dragon system that was installed on five Il-38s serving with the Indian navy during the last decade. Mr. G.E. had not been able to fully extend the knee since his injury. Mr. G.E. knee pain reached 5/10 on pain scale at its worst, and typically increased with significant ambulation or activity. There was increased pain with certain twisting maneuvers of the leg. MRI of his right knee revealed questionable medial meniscus increased signal. After minimal improvement with conservative treatment and topical anti-inflammatory, Dr. Bruce E. Ellison MD performed a knee arthroscopy. Meniscus fragments were removed and Mr. G.E. returned to normal function. In an ongoing audition for the Waqar Zaka’s show Over the Edge, a brave girl Dr. Ayesha presented a very dangerous audition by putting a live snake up and out of the mouth. It was an eye-watering performance by this girl who presented a very dangerous act of inserting live snakes into her nostrils and pulling it out of her mouth. The Waqar Zaka gave the task to the girl who was claiming about doing anything. However, the way she was doing was not looking something new for her. She did it very smartly that was enough to prove she had already done it before. She slightly passes the snake through the passage which connects the back of the throat to the nasal activity. The girls very brilliantly take out a harmless snake – which measures up to two to three feet long – and pushed it through her nose before letting it slither out of her mouth alive. She is not professional at all it this but was doing this very carefully and like a professional. But it was simply awesome to prove the courage that girl who was claiming before the show to deliver the daring act and she proved it perfectly by accepting the audition challenge of Episode 4 of the Over the Edge. After searching over the internet, it is confirmed she is the first ever female in the world to insert a snake from her nose and pulls it from her mouth. Less
