EPISODE 15 (2/17/13): "Praise to the Pageant" In this episode, Cynthia's Miss Renaissance pageant got off to a rough start as host actor Boris Kodjoe was not able to follow the script and it seemed like things was falling apart. Surprisingly, everything turned out well for the pageant. Former Miss USA herself, Kenya, wanted to be part of it. After a discussion with NeNe, Cynthia reluctantly offered to let Kenya be a judge, knowing full well it could backfire. There was a light discussion of the ladies taking a trip to Vegas as a girls-night-out for NeNe because she's been very busy in LA working on her show. Meanwhile, Phaedra invites Chef Roblé to cook up some aphrodisiacs for a tantalizing dinner with Apollo, Kandi, and Todd. Kandi prepares to record her first Gospel duet with Gospel great Marvin Sapp. Kandi's Dad, Titus, makes a rare appearance to offer his thanks for bringing Kandi closer to her holy roots, and is moved to tears by the song. Porsha and Kordell discuss planning for a family. Kordell acts like he wonders whether Porsha can handle her charity, her career, and a family all at the same time. So she watches her brother's baby, Jayden, for the weekend to try to prove that she's able to tackle motherhood. What do you think? Send a comment.
