Check out the Mind Power Toolkit here: http://advancedmindpowertraining.com/AcheiveYourGoalsFastnnIn today's video I'm going to show you how to visualize to achieve your goals FASTER! nnI get an awful lot of emails on today's subject, how to visualize effectively. Whether you want more, better, or different in your professional, personal, or sporting life where you want to take a skill or a competency to the next level, visualization is really the shortcut.nnIt's the accelerator to get you to the achievement of your goals and your aims so much quicker. I'm also going to share in this video some of the common mistakes that people make when it comes to visualization, so stay tuned.nnLet me start by saying, I'm not going to spend too much time in this video on why you need to visualize. I'm presupposing you're here because you know the importance of visualization. What I want to get into is how to do it correctly and effectively and effectively, so how to get maximum results in the fastest possible time using the power of visualisation.nnLet's start off by talking about what do we mean by visualization and specifically creative visualization? nnA visualization is really an internal representation. We internally represent what it is that we want to achieve, and we use basically three modalities what we see, hear, and feel. We need to see it, hear it, and feel it first. The process of creative visualization is about turning the invisible into the visible is really what creative visualization is all about.nnIt starts by being very conscious and very deliberate. We each have a conscious mind and a subconscious mind. The conscious mind is more the rational, the more the thinking, and the subconscious mind is more the feeling and believing part.nnThe subconscious mind is the boss, is the powerhouse, and is where the energy comes from to achieve the goal. We take action from our subconscious mind much more than from our conscious mind.nnOur conscious mind is about what we want. The subconscious mind then is about the movement to achieve what we want. It's really important that we have alignment between the two.nnAlso, the subconscious mind really understands images, and that's why visualization is so powerful because we're dropping images in of the things that we want to achieve. Now this is going on all the time anyway. nnEinstein sums it up quite nicely up, "Your imagination is your preview of life's coming attractions."nnIf I could look through your mind and see what you picture, what you visualize on a consistent basis, I can predict what you are going to attract, what you are going to bring into your life. It's really that simple. nnNow there is a key principle about the subconscious mind. If you understand this principle, you'll understand why deliberate visualization is so important and why it works, and that is the subconscious mind can't tell the difference between what's real and what's vividly imagined.nnIt can't make the distinction between a mental thought and a physical action. To the subconscious they are both the same.nnRather than we talk about this, let me give you an experience of this and go through three quick exercises. All I am going to ask you to do is play along as best you can here. Now if you are watching this on your own, then do these exercises with me. If you are watching this and there are people around, then maybe just watch it and see what happens.nnHere we have a lemon. I want you to imagine, want you to put your left or right arm out and imagine that you've got a lemon in your hand and it's cut in half. That top part of the lemon you can see and it's glistening there and you get that fragrance of lemon juice, very fresh lemon juice. Just get that smell.nnNow bring the lemon up and as you bring it up, just put your lips over the end and suck the juice, out of the lemon, right. Now if you are anything like me, unless you love lemons, you're going to get that saliva coming into your mouth and those goose bumps around here from the sharp lemon juice. nnLet's do another one. I want you to imagine that you've got a piece of sandpaper in front of you. Imagine picking up the sandpaper and you fold the sandpaper in half so that the front and the back is sandpaper, and then bring it up to your mouth.nnI want you to put it in your teeth and go like that. That for me is worse than the lemon juice, because that's, "Aw." If you imagine putting the sandpaper in your mouth and you are getting that feeling, then this is this principle in mind.nnBut let's just do one more. If I was to be sat with you having a coffee or a beer or something and ask you the question so what holiday have you been on recently that was or a place that you've been to that was the most relaxing, the most relaxing, that you most chilled out...nnhttp://colinhiles.com/how-to-visualise-effectively-to-achieve-your-goals-faster/nnEnjoy today's training. nnColin Hiles nnhttp://youtu.be/fxoToJCWA44 Less
