An analysis of the JFK asassination footage known as the Zapruder filmnnAddendum: Some of you are like the south end of a north-bound mule. The film is FAKE. It is a composite. Take the figures of people and freeze and rotate them and they do not match up to the video taken from the reverse angle - which only shows the car speeding away. The fake film also contradicts corroborating eyewitness testimony, the grass looks like astro-turf, the plaza was not blocked off and there were actually 3 times as many people there watching than shown in the "film" and the people further away are actually larger than people closer to the supposed camera, i.e. a "composite". do-you-get-it?nnA few quick points;n- There were shots, diversionary shots and blanks being fired from everywhere, including the knoll. That is probably why some people cling to the idea that some sort of "kill" shot was fired from there.n- The street sign in the film is fake. It does not appear in any of the other research videos, I never saw it when I went there and Abraham Zapruder never mentions it in his testimony. It's also out of perspective.n- I think the driver "appears" to have a gun or even fire a shot because there was a "jump cut" at that moment (there may never have been a handgun in the car at all). I can't say for sure what his involvement was but I am certain he slammed on the brakes.n- The idea of a trunk weapon is plausible, but I have no idea what it could have been or how it worked. I think it's more likely that the shot came from the area of the mooreman/muchmore characters in this fake film. However, 8 people in Dealy plaza testified that they saw Kennedy's FOOT sticking out of the limo over the door: which means whatever delivered the headshot drove him foreward possibly to the limo floor. (those 8 people were bead by '64)nnJackie was DEFINATELY trying to get out of the car. I think it looks like she's reaching for something because she has something in her hand already. What exactly is anyones guess (It's not a piece of his brain, that's just dumb).n*Pay attention to the grill on the limo. It changes shape after emerging from behind the phoney highway sign.*n1) the limo has a different grill when it emerges from the fake road sign. 2) the road sign IS fake; and the perspective is all wrong. 3) the cops on motorcycles are twice as big as the motorcycles. 4) the crowd number more than doubles in size on the corner of dealy (houston) and elm in less than 2.4 seconds. 5) the distace to the people on the lawn is disperportionate to the people in the car, (ie objects farther away were actually larger in the film.) 6) the film as manufactured, thats the point. 7) Who owns time life? (they had the best opportunity and equipment to fake video at that time) n8) There are no witnesses to Zapruder even filming the event (including photo and video) He is just a cog in the wheel of the official story which is bogus. 9) the supposed photo evidence of zapruder filming shows three different men standing in 3 different places. 10) the photos and the video are entirely different and out of sync. Most of the photos from the reverse angle show a predominantly afro-american female crowd on the sidewalk, this "film" does not. 11) Sorry agent man. But are they going to live up to the hype?nnYou know, honestly, I don't know how flying cars became the cliché of science fiction. Maybe it was films like Blade Runner and The Fifth Element that made flying cars look so mundane and dingy that it's a wonder we weren't turned off by the concept in the first place. But then when I think about it, the reason really becomes obvious. I mean according to Texas A&M Transportation Institute, Americans spent 5.5 billion hours in traffic in 2011. That's over 600 thousand years! But when you're stuck in traffic, nothing seems more enticing than the thought of floating off the ground and zipping directly to your destination.nnSo is this just science fiction fantasy? Maybe not.nnThe Aeromobile V2.5 is propeller-driven, two seater that theoretically you can drive from your house to the local airstrip and go on a flight of around 400 miles or so. Just don't forget to unfold the wings first. And then the American company Terrafugia is working on a similar roadable aircraft called the Transition. And they plan on having that available on the market by 2015.nnBut when most of us think flying cars, we're not really thinking about something we have to drive to the airport to use. We want a vertical take off and landing vehicle similar to the Delorean at the end of Back to the Future. But that's much, much harder.nnOk. It's future time.nnIt's morning rush hour and the in-town roads are gridlocked. But you simply roll over to the nearest vertical takeoff and landing pad - stopping at the drive-through for coffee and a bagel on the way. Once you reach a takeoff area with about fifty feet of clearance on all sides you hit the switch. Vertical takeoff might be done with a system of ducted fans, or a cutting edge quadrotor design, or maybe tiltrotors, like the V-22 Osprey, except retractable for driving mode.nnNow vertical takeoff is usually a loud, dangerous, and fuel guzzling affair, but some solutions could be on the way. A hybrid power system that uses electric motors could cut noise pollution and harmful emissions. And designers could improve fuel efficiency by using lightweight composite materials to cut down on that base vehicle weight. Plus, flying cars could naturally improve the odds by flying in a straight line to their destination, not taking that zig-zagging, stop and start approach that city drivers have to take.nnNow if you want to control one of these vehicles yourself, you're probably going to have to get a pilots license. Now that might sound like a bummer to you, but it's great news for everybody else. I mean just imagine that guy who cut you off in traffic this morning. Do you really want that guy piloting a thousand pound vehicle fifty feet over your head?nnThere is a better solution, and it's autonomous, autonomous, autonomous. If flying cars are to be a wide-spread part of our future, they absolutely have to be autonomous, very much like the proposed design for the TF-X. Some cut-scenes can't be skipped and slow down is more prevalent in the PAL version of the game. All in all a PAL game should not be measured against an NTSC game in terms of speedrunning end times.nnThe only difference between a New Game and Loaded Game is the Stillman Cut Scenes are skippable saving exactly 2 minutes and 20 seconds. nnFirst off I have to state how hard this run is to actually do. With the strats that I use I attempted to make the first 45 minutes in as quick a possible time as I could. After the Harrier the idea was to slow down slightly, as the second half of game is easy up till the Tengu fight. I take damage against the Tengu's, who after this run I changed the strat for to make it even easier and faster aswell...nnAfter that damage was no longer important and I didn't bother making the Solidus fight a clean one. I also lost time against the Rays who reacted very aggressively for some reason. Sometimes they are well behaved and I think I lost a minute overall just here. I also was slow in the Tanker where I can be 30 seconds faster, with many little time savers that me and Take Chan have found.nnI did the Choke Hold scene manually. I did not use a turbo controller. The trick is to look and hold left and look at Ocelot this makes the life bar a lot more forgiving and the trick is then to tap triangle rhythmically rather than fast. nnOverall I am delighted to have achieved a Big Boss Rank but don't think this video truly promotes my ability in this game. I lost 1 minute against the Tengu's, 1 minute against the Rays and 30 seconds in the Tanker. A run of sub 1:42:00 is about my optimal time.n nBelow is list of every major strat I have found to speed this run up for anyone before me and for anyone after me.nn1. It may sound crazy, but it's true. nnnnOn the surface, cocaine and porn don't seem to have a lot in common. One is purchased in seedy alleyways; the other is free to download. One habit can get expensive pretty fast, while the other is about the price of a high-speed Internet connection. Besides, Hugh Heffner doesn't exactly conjure up images of a cartel drug lord.nnnSo where's the similarity? Inside the brain.nnnIn case you're not a neurosurgeon, here's a crash course in how the brain works. Deep inside your brain, there's something called a "reward pathway." You've got one. Your cat's got one. For mammals, it comes standard. The reward pathway's job is to help keep you alive by doing exactly what its name promises: rewards you, or more specifically, rewards you when you do something that promotes life, such as eating food or achieving something you've worked hard for. And the way it rewards you is by releasing chemicals in your brain—mainly one called dopamine, but also others like oxytocin. nnnNormally, these chemicals are really handy. They help us feel pleasure and to bond with other people, and they motivate us to come back to important activities that make us happy. The problem is, the reward pathway can be hijacked.nnnThe way substances like cocaine and opioids make users feel high is by triggering the reward pathway to release unnaturally high levels of dopamine without making the user do any of the work to earn it. Want to guess what else does that? Porn.nnnAnd that surge of dopamine is causing more than just feelings. As it goes pulsing through the brain, dopamine helps to create new brain pathways that essentially lead the user back to the behavior that triggered the chemical release.nnnThe more a drug user hits up or a porn user looks at porn, the more those pathways get wired into the brain, making it easier and easier for the person to turn back to using, whether they want to or not.nnnOver time, the constant overload of chemicals causes other brain changes as well. Just like a junkie will eventually require more and more of a drug to get a buzz or even just feel normal, porn users can quickly build up a tolerance as their brains adapt to the high levels of dopamine that porn releases. In other words, even though porn is still releasing dopamine into the brain, the user can't feel its effects as much.nnnThat's because the brain is trying to protect itself from the overload of dopamine by getting rid of some of its chemical receptors, which act like tiny catcher's mitts that receive the dopamine released. With fewer receptors, the brain thinks less dopamine is there and the user doesn't feel as strong a reaction. As a result, many porn users have to find more porn, find it more often, or find a more extreme version—or all three—to generate even more dopamine to feel excited.nnnAnd once a porn user becomes accustomed to a brain pulsing with these chemicals, trying to cut back on the habit can lead to withdrawal symptoms, just like with drugs. While people often think of porn as something that's been around forever, today's version of porn is a whole new ball game. Thanks to the Internet, porn now mixes the most powerful natural dopamine release the body can produce with a cocktail of other elements—endless novelty, shock, and surprise—all of which increase the dopamine surge. And because Internet porn offers an endless stream of variety, users can flip to a new image every time their high starts to fade, keeping dopamine levels elevated for hours.nnnDescribing porn's effect to a U.S. Senate committee, Dr. Jeffrey Satinover of Princeton University said, "It is as though we have devised a form of heroin 100 times more powerful than before, usable in the privacy of one's own home and injected directly to the brain through the eyes." The most striking feature of the BMW i8 however, is its upward opening scissor doors. nnThe BMW i8 is powered by three power-sources. A 129bhp engine driving the front wheels, a 227bhp three-cylinder driving the rears, and another small boosting electric motor, which works as a generator.nnThe BMW i8 also has a huge battery pack, which allows for 22 miles of range. Surprisingly though, the BMW i8 still weighs 70kg less than an Audi R8, which comes as a result of its high-tech carbon fibre body and aluminium chassis. It can also hit 0-62mph in 4.4-seconds. nnDriving on the electric motor, the BMW i8 feels Volkswagen Golf GTI fast, but if you put your foot down while going up a hill, the three-cylinder kicks in. It sounds really good - pretty similar to the throaty six-cylinder in the Porsche 911. nnTo make the BMW i8 come fully alive, though, you need to put it in 'Sport' mode. nnThis keeps the turbocharged three-cylinder engine running, as well as the electric motors. It basically gives you everything that this car has got. The engine sounds even better, and because you've got the electric motor giving you that instant shove, it feels fast. As soon as it starts to get a bit inefficient, the engine kicks in. You might expect a surging, stepped acceleration from the BMW i8, but it's really smooth. These figures are better than a Toyota Prius, a Yaris Hybrid and almost any other eco car you can think of. nnThe BMW i8 is really nice to drive, and what you notice more than anything else, is that it feels really light on its feet. All that carbon fibre really seems to have done the trick.nnIf you're expecting the BMW i8 to be an M Car, then don't. It's not a big oversteering brute, it's much more clinical than that and gets a character all of its own. nnThe steering on the BMW i8 is really nice and light, plus you get a really crisp turn-in. When the back tyres are starting to lose traction, the fronts will come in and drag you out thanks to its four-wheel drive system. It's really forgiving, but not quite as sharp as a 911 maybe. However, it's different and it's something immensely likeable. nnThe BMW i8 comes with a £100,000 price-tag - similar to a Porsche 911 or an Audi R8 - but what's amazing is how much tech you get for that. nnObviously there's the carbon-fibre body, three power-trains and four-wheel drive, but there are even options such as laser headlamps. nnThe BMW i8 makes the Audi R8 and 911 feel a bit old, but the Porsche is still sharper. What's clear though, is that BMW has definitely done enough to keep Audi and all other sports car manufacturers on their toes. Less

The battery on this pinger will be starting to go flat, which cuts the range.nnOne very interesting part of these findings is the fact that they seemed to hear two separate pings on one of their sweeps. There are two pingers on board the plane, one for each black box.nnCould the noise be something else? Well, the frequency of black box pings, 37.5 kHz, is designed to be unique in the water. It's an unusual frequency, so that it's easier to find. "Big Time" was the second hit single from Peter Gabriel's 1986 album "So" following "Sledgehammer". As you probably know, when Big Time was designed, shot and edited, audio and video editing was still a linear analog process. Unlike the non-linear digital world we live and play in now, analog required you to move from point A to Z in order...if you wanted to change a segment or drop in a new take, as we do seamlessly with a couple of key strokes on our desktop or laptop, analog required that you start the edit from the beginning. Using digital media, we're always dealing with original master quality no matter how many layers of, film and audio we mix, match and move around. In analog mode, every time you wanted to add an effect or new element to a scene you had to go "down a generation" from the original master and one step further away from your final edit which was down a generation or two from the master to begin with and you see how the difficulty compared to today where we can add an infinite number of layers to a scene and it looks just as crisp as it did coming out of the digital camera. Add in the the various animation techniques like claymation and the result here is all the more remarkable.nn"The stop motion strata-cut animation/claymation was done by David Daniels. Episode #204: This episode provides an in-depth look at the creation of Kara Walker's monumental public project, "A Subtlety, or the Marvelous Sugar Baby" (2014), at the Domino Sugar Factory in Brooklyn, NY. Seated in her Manhattan studio, Walker explains how the molasses-covered space, along with her extensive research into the history of sugar, inspired her to create a colossal sugar-coated sphinx, as well as a series of life-sized, sugar and resin boy figurines. A team of artists and fabricators are shown constructing and coating the sphinx, which, as Walker says, gains its power by "upsetting expectations, one after the other." Commissioned by Creative Time, "A Subtlety, or the Marvelous Sugar Baby" is the first large-scale public project by Walker who is best known for her cut paper silhouette installations, drawings, and watercolors. "A Subtlety, or the Marvelous Sugar Baby" is on view until July 6, 2014. Thereafter, the factory will be demolished to make way for condominiums.nnKara Walker explores the raw intersection of race, gender, and sexuality in her work, crafting vivid psychological narratives from a contemporary perspective on historical conditions.
