The Ukrainian Buk video attached has been ignored by the Dutch Safety Board. They have instead decided to use pop up amateur sleuth sites to 'investigate' the shootdown of MH17 which killed 298 people on July 17, 2014. The New York Times has recently put out a story citing the amateur sleuth site "Arms Control Wonk" which blames Russia for faking satellite evidence of Ukraine's Buk missile systems in the shootdown zone. The video above proves beyond any doubt that the Kiev coup imposed government and military had numerous Buk missile systems in the Slavyansk area at the time MH-17 was shot down, thus, making the entire NYT/ ACW concocted 'report' irrelevant and show it to be a poorly reported propaganda attempt due to omission of evidence. Simply put, the western media establishment and their hastily assembled amateur sleuth sites intentionally choose to ignore all the video evidence showing Ukraine's Buk missile systems in numerous locations throughout the war zone at the time of the shootdown of MH17. These sites only publish 'evidence' that fits the narrative they put forth and intentionally ignore evidence which doesn't fit into that manufactured narrative. The source who had been briefed by U.S. intelligence analysts said the likely missile battery that launched the fateful missile was manned by troops dressed in what looked like Ukrainian uniforms.At that point, the source said CIA analysts were still not ruling out the possibility that the troops might have been eastern Ukrainian rebels in similar uniforms but the initial assessment was that the troops were Ukrainian soldiers. There also was the suggestion that the soldiers were undisciplined and possibly drunk, since the imagery showed what looked like beer bottles scattered around the site, the source said. I feel I have been brushed aside on this issue. It's galling. Suddenly, the car's side mirror knocks him from his bike, sending him tumbling to the ground at high speed. As the camera comes to rest, you can hear the cyclist's screams of agony. His upper leg has been shattered.Moment of impact. This video is gaining traction on social media after being posted by the Brisbane cyclist who claims Queensland police fabricated his testimony on the official crash report, in the course of fining the driver of the car one demerit point for "following too closely". It comes to light at a time when cycling advocacy groups are renewing a national campaign for a minimum passing distance law, following the death of cyclist Richard Pollett in similar circumstances. Craig Cowled, 38, who lost 1.5 litres of blood while spending seven hours in surgery, remembers the events leading up to the incident clearly, including an early premonition of danger.Brisbane cyclist Craig Cowled, whose leg was shattered when he was hit by a car. ‘‘As I was approaching a set of lights ... a white car came very close to me,’’ Mr Cowled said. ‘‘It unnerved me a little but sometimes you shrug off these close passes and move on.’’ Mr Cowled said he started off again, ‘‘really putting my head down’’, taking a legal position in the middle of the left lane and staying out of a turning lane while constantly doing ‘‘head checks’’ over his shoulder for following cars. ‘‘It came as a real surprise to me when this [white] car moved into my field of vision and suddenly I was hit. The bike went out from underneath and I slammed down onto the road.’’ Although he was in tremendous pain at the time of the incident, he clearly recalls passers-by creating a safe space around him and the speedy arrival of an ambulance. The police arrived and took a statement from the driver of the vehicle that had hit him, but Mr Cowled says he was rushed to hospital without speaking to them. ‘‘I had a compound fracture right through my femur - the thigh bone, the biggest bone in your body - it was fractured clean through,’’ he says. He praised the ‘‘amazing’’ skills of the medical staff at the Royal Brisbane Hospital who inserted a titanium rod through the length of the bone, and reattached his leg to his hip joint. While he was in hospital, a police officer visited but he was in treatment. He was later told the officer had merely come to tell him the location of his bicycle, which had been damaged in the crash. When he was released from hospital almost a week later, Mr Cowled called police to give a statement and show them his video footage of the incident. In a letter he delivered on Friday to the office of the Queensland Commissioner of Police, Ian Stewart, Mr Cowled details what happened next. After leaving several messages and getting no reply, he eventually made contact. "The officer advised me that I was not required to make a statement as the matter had been finalised," he writes. "I was very surprised and asked several times, why not?" Mr Cowled said he was told that the driver been charged with a traffic offence. The officer would not tell him what the charge was, but told him that he should be happy that police had found 100 per cent in his favour, which would help to facilitate his personal injury claim. A few weeks later Mr Cowled received a copy of the police report via his solicitor. He was amazed to find that a statement had been filled in on his behalf, in first person speech. Inaccuracies included an entry that he had been cycling for recreation - he was in fact en route to work. Much of the statement attributed to him contains the same information as the statement given by the motorist who hit him. It ends by saying: "I have been struck by a vehicle on my right. I have then hit the bitumen and was instantly in pain." The driver’s statement in the report said he had seen the cyclist up ahead, and had noticed him when nearly overtaking him at the earlier intersection. The driver said he was ‘‘trying to go around [the cyclist] in the lane’’ and ‘‘his bike has clipped the car’’. The report concludes that the driver of the vehicle ‘‘has seen a bicycle up ahead and attempted to overtake ... and not left enough space’’, thereby causing a collision. This was judged as requiring a fine of ‘‘follow too closely’’, with the recommendation that ‘‘no further action be taken’’. ‘‘In all honesty, I feel I have been brushed aside on this issue,’’ said Mr Cowled, a PhD candidate with three sons under the age of six. ‘‘It’s galling.’’ He has sought legal advice, and hopes that his letter to the Commissioner will spark an investigation into police handling of the matter. Police told Fairfax Media on Monday afternoon the matter was the subject of an internal inquiry. ‘‘The Queensland Police Service is currently making inquiries in relation to allegations that have been raised to the police handling of an investigation where a cyclist was injured on Kingsford Smith Drive,’’ police said in a statement. ‘‘Those allegations have been forwarded to the Ethical Standards Command and this matter is now the subject of an internal inquiry.’’ Mr Cowled has been told it may take a year for him to recover full mobility, and there is a chance he will need a hip replacement. Six weeks later, he is still taking strong medication to manage constant pain. The incident has come at a time when cycling advocacy organisations are campaigning for states to adopt laws that enforce a minimum distance for cars passing bicycles. Sean Sampson of the Amy Gillett Foundation, which is campaigning under the slogan "a metre matters", said: "This incident highlights the need for change to create a safer environment for bicycle riders, the type of behavioural and legislative change that can be delivered through the introduction of minimum passing distance laws." After months of public hearings and requests for submissions, a government inquiry into cycling in Queensland was completed last week. It is due to deliver its findings on November 29. The inquiry follows a court case over the death of Mr Pollett, a virtuoso violinist, who was run over by a truck while cycling on Brisbane's Moggill Road in September 2011. She delves into this theme because ““In Yorubaland a piece of cloth is worn as a wrapper that covers a womanʼs body,” she said. “Generations ago, patterns and colors printed on a cloth identifies a culture and an ethnic group. Here, I use the cloth as a symbol of intimacy, privacy, spirituality, beauty, death, folklore and violation.” She was never apprehensive about her capabilities or hurdles, being a female artist in Nigeria, she was just focused on her art. But, she realised it was not as simple as she thought. Her gender as an artist was definitely a concern for the society and the industry. She was exposed to the world full of prejudices. We need to overcome them. Peju’s art is not driven by commercial materialistic matrix of demand and supply. . She denies painting faces or portraits or sceneries because they will sell or please others. She paints for herself; she creates what she likes and what appeals to her. Her work is result of this out of the box thinking, often not accepted very overwhelmingly by the world otherwise. She says, “people in Nigeria do not want to confront the status quo. They don’t want to be part of the discussion.” Her installations challenge the social, religious and cultural norms. She touches upon various issues of social atrocities against women like child brides or oppression of women. She appeals to all women artists to “Transcend Gender” and look beyond physical, social and cultural boundaries of creativity. Nothing should be about gender, we all have something special that we can give to the world. Peju trains both women and men in sewing and beadwork as she believes that mastering a craft builds self-esteem and can give financial independence. Impacting mostly the younger generation of artists, Peju is often invited to speak with students and is always accessible to them and offers training. As her artist statement on her website reads, “I am but an alien addicted to the taste of freedom.” She certainly does stand out in the crowd, a distinct individuality that dares to question the social constructs. The Extravehicular Mobility Unit (EMU) is an independent anthropomorphic spacesuit that provides environmental protection, mobility, life support, and communications for astronauts performing extra-vehicular activity (EVA) in Earth orbit. Introduced in 1981, it is a two-piece semi-rigid suit, and is currently one of two EVA spacesuits used by crew members on the International Space Station (ISS), the other being the Russian Orlan space suit... Suit components The EMU, like the Apollo/Skylab A7L spacesuit, was the result of years of research and development. It consists of a Hard Upper Torso (HUT) assembly, a Primary Life Support System (PLSS) which incorporates the life support and electrical systems, arm sections, gloves, an Apollo-style "bubble" helmet, the Extravehicular Visor Assembly (EVVA), and a soft Lower Torso Assembly (LTA), incorporating the Body Seal Closure (BSC), waist bearing, brief, legs, and boots. Prior to donning the pressure garment, the crew member puts on a Maximum Absorbency Garment (MAG) (basically a modified incontinence diaper – Urine Collection Devices (UCDs) are no longer used), and possibly a Thermal Control Undergarment (long johns). The final item donned before putting on the pressure suit is the Liquid Cooling and Ventilation Garment (LCVG)... After donning the LCVG, the astronaut then puts on the LTA, before entering the airlock. The astronaut then dons the HUT, connects the LCVG umbilical to the umbilical in the HUT, and then locks the two parts of the suit together using the Body Seal Closure. Once the suit is turned on and checked out, the astronaut dons a "Snoopy cap", a brown and white fabric communications cap dating back to the Apollo days, which incorporates a pair of earphones and microphones, allowing the EVA astronaut to communicate with both the crew members in the orbiter and ground controllers in Houston. After donning the "Snoopy cap", the gloves and helmet are then locked on, pressurizing the suit. The suit's regulator and fans activate when the servicing umbilicals are removed and the suit reaches an internal pressure of 4.3 psi (30 kPa). A typical EMU can support an astronaut for 8.5 hours, with 30 minutes of reserves in the case of primary life support failure. To perform an EVA from the shuttle, the cabin pressure was reduced from 14.7 psi to 10.2 psi for 24 hours, after which an astronaut had to pre-breathe for 45 minutes. For EVAs on board the ISS, the astronaut must pre-breathe for about four hours... Manufacturer The EMU hardware and accessories (PLSS, helmet, communications cap, and locking rings for the helmet and gloves), is manufactured by Hamilton Standard (now the Hamilton Sundstrand division of UTC Aerospace Systems) out of Windsor Locks, Connecticut, while the suit's soft components (the arms of the HUT and the entire LTU) are produced by ILC Dover (a former division of Playtex) out of Frederica, Delaware... History Upon receiving the contract to build the EMU in 1974, Hamilton United and ILC Dover delivered the first EMU units to NASA in 1982... The first EVA of the new EMU finally occurred on STS-6 when Story Musgrave and Donald Peterson went out in the payload bay of the Space Shuttle Challenger and tested techniques to lower the launch cradle of a solid-fuel upper stage used to boost a Tracking and Data Relay Satellite (TDRS-A) into a geo-stationary orbit. Other EVAs followed on the Shuttle, notably those on STS-41-B (the first Manned Maneuvering Unit flight), STS-41-C (the Solar Max repair mission), and STS-51-A (where two stranded satellites were retrieved and returned to Earth), but the majority of EMU uses occurred on the servicing missions of the Hubble Space Telescope... With the building of the ISS, Hamilton Sundstrand and ILC Dover refined the existing Shuttle EMU by making the suit modular. This allowed the EMU to be left on the ISS for up to two years and resized on-orbit to fit various crew members... Currently, the ISS EMU and the Russian ORLAN are used by crews of all nationalities on the International Space Station. The two EMUs are stored within the Quest Joint Airlock. More than 600 migrants have been rescued at sea over the last few days and taken to Porto Empedocle in Sicily. Most arrivals have risked their lives to flee Libya which has been rocked increasingly by civil war for much of the last year. Rescuers carried women and young children off a vessel while hundreds of others waited on board the ship to step onto day land. Hundreds have died during the perilous journey across the Mediterranean. Many Western countries have closed their embassies and evacuated their diplomats from Libya because of the rising danger. Perhaps it’s no surprise that Libyans too want to leave. Their country’s plunge into anarchy has created an ideal environment for traffickers, who pack people fleeing war and poverty onto rickety boats that set sail for Europe — mainly aiming for nearby Italy. In an interview at the Warsaw headquarters of EU border cooperation agency Frontex, Fabrice Leggeri said the numbers since January 1 of what his agency terms “irregular crossings” into Europe at all border points was the highest ever recorded. An official put the number at more than 5,600, despite winter storms and cold that normally deter the human smugglers. Asked if that meant 2015 would be a record year, Leggeri said: “Yes, if the current trend is confirmed.” In 2014, there were approximately 300,000 irregular crossings into the European Union, with UN data showing at least 218,000 people entering via the Mediterranean. The other major route for migrants was overland from the Middle East into the western Balkans and onto the EU, officials said. “There are obvious reasons: because of the geopolitical situation in Syria and the Middle East, because in Libya one can say there is a failed state and there is no government able to have effective control of the territory, which makes it easier for organised crime to flourish there.” Leggeri said traffickers were becoming more aggressive. In one case this month, smugglers pulled out guns to threaten an Italian coastguard crew which was trying to tow a wooden vessel filled with migrants into port. The traffickers, he said, wanted the boat back so they could use it again. Frontex is in charge of an EU coastguard mission patrolling the Mediterranean, dubbed Operation Triton, which started work last November just as Italy wound down a much larger programme, Mare Nostrum, that rescued more than 100,000 migrants in 2014. The Mediterranean crossing claimed an estimated 3,300 lives last year, and earlier this month more than 300 people are believed to have died after leaving Libya in inflatable rafts. The United Nation’s refugee agency, the UNHCR, says Operation Triton is woefully inadequate, and urged Europe to take a new approach. Leggeri said Operation Triton, which had been planned to run only until the end of January, would now carry on throughout the year, adding that it had already helped save up to 9,000 people. It is traditional among Muslims all over the world to regard the dog as a dirty animal that when touched would void the wudu (ablution) and infect the one who touched it with "nagasah" (impurity) [...] Sadly, this concept comes from fabricated hadith [claiming] that the Prophet ordered the killing of dogs and gave numerous hadith that prohibit the keeping of dogs except for hunting and guarding [...] However, by studying the Quran we find no such truth. Nowhere in the Quran are dogs prohibited, nor is there any mention of any contaminating effect of these lovely animals who are man's best friend. Consequently, we must dismiss all these hadith that fabricate lies against the Prophet. [1] God tells us in the Quran about the story of the dwellers of the Cave (Surah 18). In verse 13 God tells us that they were good believers and that God guided them. In verse 18 God tells us that they had their dog with them. Now if dogs are prohibited and dirty, would God speak of those dwellers of the Cave (who had a dog) as good believers? [2] In 5:4 God tells us that it is okay to eat what the trained dogs catch (dogs are used in hunting). Now if the dog is an animal which causes contamination by mere touch, would God tell us it is perfectly okay to eat what the dog catches with his mouth (let alone just touch the dog)? If this is what the Quran has to tell us about the issue of dogs, then where does all the prohibition come from? Where do the claims that dogs are dirty animals which if touched would void our ablution and render us impure come from? As most other corruptions which have crept into Islam, the source is always the fabricated hadith which are falsely attributed to prophet Muhammad! Hadith tell us that the Prophet prohibited the keeping of dogs as pets. Other hadith tell us that angels won't enter a room where there is a dog. Other hadith tell us that if we touch a dog our ablution is void and we become impure, and that we have to wash seven times to clean this impurity, the final time in dust. That seems inconsistent with the Quran saying you may eat what they catch for you! Some other hadith go even beyond that to say that we must kill all black dogs! The outcome of all the above is that we must discard all the lies attributed to the prophet regarding prohibiting dogs and be focused on the Quran as the only source of guidance and religious law.
