A car barreled into a packed Houston restaurant, injuring multiple people in a harrowing scene that was captured on video. In five seconds' time, tables, chairs and helpless people are seen being violently swept up by an SUV but perhaps more amazingly, leaving its scattered victims with only minor injuries, said the Houston Fire Department. The black SUV is first briefly seen maneuvering to face the glass-wall entrance of Dimassi's Mediterranean Buffet at La Concha just before 2 p.m. when it abruptly charges forward. Those injured — some appearing in the video to have become trapped beneath the vehicle — were transported to nearby hospitals as a precaution, said Public Information Officer Kenwatta Parker. An investigation into what may have caused the driver to plow into the establishment is still underway, he said. Huaral, Peru: Two people were killed and three wounded after hitmen attacked a busy chicken restaurant on December 23rd, 2015. At approximately 8:50 PM, three hitmen arrived at Rokys Polleria and opened fire on a table full of patrons, killing Cristian Cirilo Alegre Rivera and Rafael Ramos Trinidad and wounding Irma Carrero Vallejos, Rosa Sanchez Pupuche and Veronica Uribe Miyashiro. The victims, along with other families, were at the restaurant celebrating the end of the school term. Rivera, who was the owner of a funeral home, was reportedly the main target of the killers, who fled the scene in a motorbike.
