Disney's Dinosaur review. http://www.ClassicGameRoom.com Shop CGR shirts & mugs! http://www.CGRstore.com Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Disney's Dinosaur for the Game Boy Color developed by Digital Eclipse and published by Ubisoft. Disney's Dinosaur is a top-down action-adventure game. Kind of. You play as six different characters from the movie, including Aladar, Zini and Flia. Each character has unique abilities, so switching back and forth between them quickly becomes the crux of the gameplay. You walk around, collect flowers, rescue other dinosaurs and occasionally jump. There's not much to the gameplay in this simple Game Boy Color game, which is also marred by awful art and color. Nonetheless, nostalgic players who enjoyed the movie might find something worthwhile in Disney's Dinosaur. Just avoid the meteors. Something tells me the meteors are bad news for the dinosaurs. FIFA 2006 World Cup review. http://www.ClassicGameRoom.com Shop CGR shirts & mugs! http://www.CGRstore.com Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of FIFA 2006 World Cup for the Game Boy Advance developed by Exient Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts. FIFA 2006 World Cup is a soccer/football game that recreates the greatest tournament the "world's game" has to offer. Even on the Game Boy Advance, FIFA 2006 World Cup has plenty of gameplay modes, from the tournament itself to exhibition play, situational challenges and even GBA-linked multiplayer. The gameplay isn't quite as impressive, suffering from some slowness and a lack of fluidity, but it's at least wrapped up in a very impressive package on the GBA. Soccer fans looking for a retro dose of FIFA goodness will certainly find it in FIFA 2006 World Cup for the Game Boy Advance, though they may find the game plays better elsewhere. This video review features video gameplay footage of FIFA 2006 World Cup for the Game Boy Advance and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek. Less

Astro Boy: Omega Factor review. http://www.ClassicGameRoom.com Shop CGR shirts & mugs! http://www.CGRstore.com Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Astro Boy: Omega Factor for the Game Boy Advance developed by Treasure and Hitmaker and published by SEGA. Astro Boy: Omega Factor is a side-scrolling action game based on the popular Astro Boy manga. You play as Astro Boy, the shirtless wonder himself, in this action-packed beat 'em up. Your main weapons are your fists and feet, and stringing together combos is essential. That's partly because combos crush fools, but also because it fills your power meter. With that, you can do special attacks that really unleash the pain! One of these attacks even sprays bullets from Astro Boy's underwear. What is it with Astro Boy and his underwear? Nonetheless, Astro Boy: Omega Factor is a fantastic GBA action game for fans of the manga and old-school games like Ninja Gaiden and Mega Man. If you don't like Mega Man, we can't be friends. This video review features video gameplay footage of Astro Boy: Omega Factor for the Game Boy Advance and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek. Less

It is 100 years since a simple song was released to the public. A song that unites music legends Elvis Presley, Bing Crosby, Johnny Cash and The Pogues. One song that Elvis loved so much he had it played at his funeral. Yes, it’s the one and only Danny Boy. And it is celebrating its 100th birthday on June 21st, 2013. The song’s melody was first heard in Ireland in the streets of Limavady, County Londonderry where it was known as The Londonderry Air. However it wasn’t until 1910 that Frederick Weatherly, an Englishman, composed the lyrics for this melody. His famous words were published in 1913, making this year the song’s 100th anniversary. To view Multimedia News Release, go to http://www.multivu.com/mnr/62195-tourism-ireland-celebrates-100-years-of-danny-boy Less

Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed review. http://www.ClassicGameRoom.com Shop CGR shirts & mugs! http://www.CGRstore.com Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed for the Game Boy Advance from THQ. Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed is a single-player platform game based on the 2004 film of the same name. The costumes of some of Scooby's greatest villains have been brought to life, and it's up to the Scooby crew to solve the mystery. Monsters Unleashed plays from a 2D perspective, offering classic side-scrolling gameplay. The game is very simple and repetitive, but given its young intended audience, that's to be expected. Collect Scooby Snacks and defeat enemies as you make your way to the end of each level. Daphne even has a knife of some kind. That's awesome. If you're really into the movie and don't mind your platformers repetitive, Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed might scratch your GBA itch. Hot Wheels: All Out review. http://www.ClassicGameRoom.com Shop CGR shirts & mugs! http://www.CGRstore.com Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Hot Wheels: All Out for the Game Boy Advance from Destination Software, Inc. Hot Wheels: All Out is a single and multiplayer racing game released for the Game Boy Advance in 2006. It's kind of a top-down racer in the old-school vein, but not quite, as the camera is actually at an angle. The game features 17 different Hot Wheels cars to choose from, and from there, you hit the tracks. Hot Wheels: All Out's four courses include the city, the jungle, snowy tundra and a volcano. The courses are also remixed for additional track layouts. Hot Wheels: All Out features about five individual racing modes. Standard races, a last-place eliminator and a beat-the-clock mode are included. Hot Wheels: All Out supports single and local multiplayer play. Already riding high with back to back big banner films in his kitty, Imran Khan is sure on a roll. Currently working on projects like 'Once Upon Ay Time In Mumbai Dobaara' with Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha, 'Gori Tere Pyaar Mein' opposite Kareena Kapoor and 'Milan Talkies' with Priyanka Chopra, Imran has now bagged Vikramaditya Motwane's forthcoming film. Tentatively titled as 'Bhabesh', the film is believed to be a quirky take on a common man's anguish against the corrupted system of India. The film is based on a Gujarati novel, and Imran Khan will be apparently seen playing a Gujrati boy in lead. 'Bhabesh' will go on floors by September, after 'Once Upon Ay Time In Mumbai Dobaara' gets released in August this year. Less

TMNT review. http://www.ClassicGameRoom.com Shop CGR shirts & mugs! http://www.CGRstore.com Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of TMNT for the Game Boy Advance developed and published by Ubisoft. TMNT is a single-player beat ‘em up in the classic Turtles tradition. Like the Arcade Game, Manhattan Project and Turtles In Time, TMNT is a 2D action game in which players get to beat up lots of thugs with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. This game is a movie tie-in for the 2007 animated film, TMNT. After defeating Shredder in the first Turtles film, the Turtles have grown apart. Meanwhile, an ancient evil is brewing in New York City, and it will take a reunited Turtles team to stop it. Play as Leonardo, Donatello, Michaelangelo and Raphael with gameplay similar to the classic Turtles games, which are some of the most popular beat ‘em ups of their era. The game features beautiful 2D Turtles sprites and old-school gameplay, and even without multiplayer, it’s a return to form for the Heroes in a Half-Shell.
