I'll comment on my plans for it here then everybody can read it:nnI think I'll upload it on my other channel called Fun Stuff in it's entirety this weekend instead of Redgarter Shows AND make a playlist to the individual songs that I've already uploaded on my different channels because a lot of times people just want to hear one song. That's what I do on this Redgarter Shows channel for 30 min amusement park shows. It used to be because YouTube's time limit was a 10 minute video. I got used to doing that and saw that the songs had different view counts which told me some people like one song more than another (or certain performers take the lead in certain songs and their Mom's watch it). So it's also convenient viewing. I put the songs in a playlist that plays one right after another. However a full show like this is also good in one video.nnThe reasons I'm thinking about doing it on the Fun Stuff channel is: nA) Prince was funny about music shared on YouTube in the past. I know a drummer who knows one of his drummers)nB) But it''s not copyrighted material that shows up in YouTube's database not even the musical compositions right now nC) However that's not to say it won't in the future because it's up to the music publisher to submit it to YouTube's database that finds it automatically. Sometimes even if it's a 30 second clip like Bob Marley turntable test LP I uploaded to another channel Electrotech 741. It took 3 months before they claimed a copyright. Fortunately it wasn't a copyright strike. They just put ads on it. I tried Pink Floyd in a mashup and it took a week. Another Floyd song was fine fwiwnD) You can't tell until it's in the database whether its a copyright strike or not, or blocked in certain countries, and/or monetized by the publisher or shared monetization - which is rare. YouTube does have a database you can search for audio currently in the database which tells you if it will be blocked or not. The Eagles will be blocked with a copyright strike for example whether it's uploaded as a private or public video. I guess they care about themselves more than their fans who help pay their bills in the first place lolnE) In which case I don't know if/or until it happens what the terms would be for this concert videonF) If you get two strikes your channel is in bad standing and it limits what you can donG) it's like a courtesy warning the first time. I know because it has happened on the Fun Stuff channel with a mashup that had a 10 sec Eagles clip ;nH) The Fun Stuff channel was a test channel for such material so it won't be a big deal if it gets taken downnI) I have too much time invested in videos since 2008 on my other channels which have separate subject matter is why there not one huge channel. There used to be and it got confusing fwiw I don't want tor isk potential copyright strikes on more than one videonJ) Luckily YouTube treats each channel's standing separatelynnSo anyway I wanted to share at least one Live Prince song on each channel that loosely fit the theme of each channel and if I get one copyright strike apiece it won't hurt the channel and frankly it'd be nice if new viewers knew about those channels. I make interesting videos worth my time and they don't get as many views as I'd like. this is a good opportunity to share a great concert video of an artist I've appreciated for a long time since High School. Most people watch music videos on YouTube.nnA couple songs were uploaded as 16:9 because it's iMovie's default and I was in a hurry. Coach Bolton here... preparing to audition for High School Musical #4 for the role of Coach Bolton. Since I have not herd from Micky yet, telling me that I'm in the next HSM, i'm taking maters into my own hands and will be sending in my audition along with the rest of the world on the "Disney Applause App" as well as posting on line. Get ready for a series of very serious videos of my efforts to make sure I am once again the coach of the great EAST HIGH WILDCATS and once again we will show the West High Knights they are no match. So... GETCHA HEAD IN THE GAME... don't stick to the status quo.. and like, 16 MINUTES or what ever that song was about... and lets get real. Let's make it happen and make some dream come true. You will be a better person for going for it and you will probably have some good laughs getting it done. So have fun. Go for it.
