How many other examples still have just a shade over 900 actual miles on the clock?nnThe S2000 features a front mid-engine, rear-drive layout with power delivered by a 2.0L inline four-cylinder DOHC VTEC engine. The engine (codenamed F20C) produces 240 horsepower (or 120 hp per liter) and 153 lbs-ft of torque and is mated to a six-speed manual transmission then connected to a Torsen limited-slip differential.nnFinished in Silver Stone Metallic (code NH-630M) on the outside, this two-seater is sharp! There are only three very minor body blemishes that we can find but overall, the car’s paint is thick and glossy, its glass still looks showroom new and the lights are all clear, intact and crisp. From its high-intensity discharge (HID) headlamps to its back bumper, every body panel is laser straight and properly aligned. The black vinyl power top is in excellent shape, including its transparent plastic rear window.nnInside, the cozy confines of the cockpit, with its nearly-new condition black (code Type A) Recaro leather bucket seats, coax you to climb in, close the door and head out for the longest scenic route you can find between home and work or just because. The seats, carpet, dashboard, steering wheel, door panels, mirrors, console and shifter show little to no wear and look like they just came off of the assembly line. The exhaust features a two-piece stainless steel cat-back, polished stainless steel resonator and mufflers with 3.5-inch polished stainless steel resonated tips. It allows a smooth, low tone to emanate from the car without being overly loud. Included with purchase are the car’s OEM intake and exhaust systems, stock tonneau cover, exhaust tips and cargo net.nnComptech USA, now CT Engineering, in Rancho Cordova, California, is the factory authorized tuning arm for Acura and Honda, offering products for the Acura Integra and NSX, the Honda Civic SI and S2000 models, among others. CT parts are engineered to fit right the first time, are dyno-tested to ensure performance gains and they are made to last. Participating dealers allow the buyer to order CT parts when they order their car and the dealer will install the parts prior to delivery. This S2000 also features a dealer-installed Stargard security system, which disables the starter when the special coded Stargard key is missing from the under-dash receptacle, preventing anyone from hot-wiring the vehicle.nnThe Honda S2000 was manufactured from 1999 to 2009. First shown as a concept car at the Tokyo Motor Show in 1995, the production version was launched in April 1999 to celebrate the company’s 50th anniversary.
