To say that Vanessa Williams + Jim Skrip's wedding was epic would be an understatement. The couple brought their Egyptian themed wedding come to life in Downtown Buffalo for their guests. The Ceremony was held at the beautiful St. Stanislaus Roman Catholic Church and then continued to the grand Statler City was glistening with gold lightening, belly dancers seemed to be floating on air, pulses of crafted drummers filled the air & the beauty of several talented voices. We could go on and on. Everything about their day was simply magical and we were so honored to be a part of their magic carpet ride. We were in just love with the decor created by Carla Measer Costamagna at Costamagna Design, which seemed to warp guests thousands of miles away to Egypt. One of our favorites was the ornate tents that filled the venue above tables!n nA big shout out to all the local vendors who we worked with and to all the new vendors we became friends with!n nCostamagna DesignnStatler CitynHotel at the LafayettenBrian Hatton PhotographynDJ AntiQnCJ SoundnBuffalo TrolleysnAdvantage LimonMike's Homemade CandiesnArabesque Dance CompanynMuscoreil’s Fine DessertsnSam FinenKate Best MakeupnChuck AmosnDeborah Medeiros-BakernOscar JamesnDaniel KoyenGroom Service Beauty and Dry BarnGiant Invitations of AustralianDiptyque ParisnZohar ProductionsnCourtney CalligraphynAll Season Rental of BuffalonnMusic licensed thorough the Music Bed Less

This no budget film project is a cooperation between the artists Low Bros and the filmmakers editude pictures, 3D implementation by Tobias Wüstefeld and sound support from School Of Light.nn“Menace Beach” is a unique tribute to the birth of skateboarding. Instead of re-hashing the past, the Low Bros are trying to re-capture the attitude and feeling of those early skate-innovators together through a multi-media film that references the different eras and influences of skate history. nn"Menace Beach" had its premier at this year's Pictoplasma, in the conference as well as of the same named solo show, which was part of the "Pictoplasma Character Walk". nnA Film by: Low Bros x editude pictures n(https://www.facebook.com/lowbros) (http://www.editudepictures.de/)nn3D Animation: Tobias Wüstefeld n(http://www.tobiaswuestefeld.de/)nnMusic by: School Of LightnnSkater: Bemo Lundgren / Joseph Loughborough / Conrad BauernnThanks to the following people who supported us with their skills, knowledge or materials:nPhillipp BarthnJeanette "Mucki" LederernSkateboard Museum (http://www.skateboardmuseum.de/)nMonsieur HugonDaniel "Parsi" nShirannSky Ranch Berlin (http://www.skyranch-berlin.de/)nDudes Factory (http://www.dudes-factory.com/)nOn&On (http://www.on-n-on.de/)nnWatch the review of the MENACE BEACH Vernissage at this years "Pictoplasma Character Walk" in Berlin:nhttps://vimeo.com/70108231 Less

Extra Butter and Sperry Top-Sider teams up for their first collaboration project, finding inspiration in both brands' shared affinity for the beach. nnCreated amidst one of New York's harshest winters, Extra Butter kept their sights set on the summertime, and for that magic day when the weather warms up and forces us all to rush to the beach! The "Beach Getaway" pack consists of 2 classic Sperry Top-Sider silhouettes with a beach bound makeover. nnAlso drawing inspiration for Extra Butter's Long Island roots with nicknames paying homage to Long Island's surrounding shores, the "Atlantic" A/O boat shoe features a custom sublimation ocean water print nylon upper mixed with a flecked canvas that looks dipped in sand. The collar lining is printed with what we see when we look up from the sand, the sky and clouds. The "Sound" Striper also features a sky blue flecked canvas, with a teal salt washed canvas. The Striper's interior has the same custom ocean print seen on the A/O. Both shoes feature Extra Butter clapboard logos on the heel. nnFor more release info visit - www.extrabutterny.com Less

Martin's 5: Battle for the Beach explores the Surfrider Foundation’s fight to keep America's beaches open to the public through the lens of a monumental court case in San Mateo County, California that will have larger implications on beach access issues in the United States. The short film is the second in The Inertia's documentary series.nn"We wanted to provide a snapshot of one of the many ongoing beach access campaigns Surfrider is championing," said Zach Weisberg, Co-Producer and Publisher at The Inertia. “We hope this film raises awareness for beach access issues nationwide and motivates people to make an impact by getting involved in that conversation.”nnJoin the fight by logging on to www.surfrider.org/access and make a donation to support Surfrider’s fight for beach access here: https://secure.surfrider.org/page/contribute/martins-beach-join?cid=intertia#formnnMore from The Inertia, Surfing's Definitive Online Community here: http://www.theinertia.com.nnSpecial thanks to the Surfrider Foundation, Director/Producer Richard Yelland, Willie Tipp, David Ortuno, and Curtis Birch Inc. for their tireless efforts, patience, and creative direction, Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings for permitting us to use their gorgeous rendition of Woodie Guthrie's "This Land is Your Land, and the beautiful imagery provided by Jim Patterson Photography. Ever since moving to the beach communities of Los Angeles from Chicago, I resisted embracing the very different feel of the holiday season in California. In recent years, however, I've really started to appreciate the unique traditions of Christmas in SoCal, so I decided to film as much of it as I could this year.nnRedondo Beach King Harbor features a boat parade with dozens of boats with festive passengers and at least fifty stand-up paddleboard riders also decked out with lights and costumes. Manhattan Beach abstains from fireworks displays during Independence Day so that they can put on an enormous show each December, which is one of the highlights of the holiday season. The Sleepy Hollow neighborhood of Torrance transforms about ten full blocks into a whimsical Candy Cane Lane with almost every home displaying Griswold-style lights and over-the-top décor. Scenes from Pier Avenue in Hermosa Beach and Terranea Resort in Palos Verdes are also shown. nnThe entire video is original footage from December 2014. I filmed everything using Canon DSLRs for timelapse and video, plus a GoPro for some of the hyperlapses mounted to my car. nnMerry Christmas! nnFilmed and edited by Brian Hawkins, Redondo Beach, California. nnContact: bmhawkins@gmail.comnFacebook: http://www.facebook.com/bmhawkinsnInstagram: www.instagram.com/brian.hawkinsnTwitter: www.twitter.com/Brian_Hawkins Less

The Long Beach Gospel Festival put on by Pastor Wayne and Myesha Chaney jokingly declares their celebration to be “Mega Fest West” due to the accelerated success they’ve seen it grow within the last five years. nn They are now partnered with Releve’ Entertainment, E One Entertainment and Motown Gospel, not to mention the notoriety from being on one of the top programs, “Preachers of LA.” nnHowever, with all the success, support and love, Pastor Chaney is one of the most humble celebrities, our associate LaCora Stephens, brags about interviewing. nnPastor Wayne Chaney states, “God keeps exceeding our expectation and we’re thankful!” nnGet MORE info at EURweb (http://wp.me/p33GTY-2cSi) Less
