This is my Beagle (Age 4) as we were finishing our walk at the park. I took a video because the stadium lights were on (Obviously to light up the hockey rinks), and I wanted to see how well my camera takes videos at night. Keep in thought this is a dog (That I rescued as a puppy, An old man lost his land and had no place for his rabbit dogs or their pups, who only seen 2 alcoholic, abusive pricks before) The rescuers said he was probibly not going to be able to be trained because he had physical & behavioral issues; Also ear infections, a bad limp, a broken tail, patches of hair missing, and he was afraid of everything - loud sounds & men's voices would make him shake and hide- he also would not look at me for weeks, probibly a month before he gave me eye contact, the so-called experts said he needed to be in a home that was very quiet, without kids, somewhere very calm- where people didn't raise their voices. I asked for how long, they replied forever. I'm sorry but that is nonsense. I took it easy with him at first, especially the three months he had doggy physical therepy, but I took him everywhere and socialized him during that time. And it may have took till he was well over a year old, but now this dog is steady near gunfire. You never know how a dog will turn out until you put in the time. Don't listen to nay-sayers, I choose believe anything is possible. Plus I don't deserve most of the credit for how he turned out, my Yorkie deserves it. From the day I got my ... Less
