Katarina Sreckovic, Presenter of Zvezda TV (in Serbian): "There was an interesting anecdote when I came to the pitch to meet the players for the first time and there were dozens of them on the field, players and management and only me, so it was logical that they reacted to my presence on the pitch. And, as a joke they said 'Come on, move aside, while we practice, you are disturbing us'." W/S Sreckovic on the pitch with cameraman and her guest SOT. Katarina Sreckovic, Presenter of Zvezda TV (in Serbian): "I blushed at first very often because I feel uncomfortable and it takes [a lot] to get to know someone, they need time and me too. Very often I got confused, sometimes they [the players] don't know what to reply but it also depends on the character. They are quite [a lot] younger than me and I have more experience of being in front of the camera." M/S Net SOT. Katarina Sreckovic, Presenter of Zvezda TV (in Serbian): "I always watch at the Marakana when Red Star play, I jump from my seat, rarely swear, and get extremly nervous, and the game ticks me off so much. I always say that one day I will leave my hair on this pitch, that my hair will go white because of football." The 31-year-old presenter shot to global fame after she told an anecdote to local media about how she almost lost her job. The story broke after she told the media that some football players couldn't focus on the game when she was on the pitch and was asked on one occasion, as a joke, to leave the pitch. However, she says it's only an anecdote and that her job was never at risk. Except for being a symbol for Red Star FC, she is a passionate fan saying that she loses her nerves during the games when she jumps around Marakana, Red Star's stadium, and yells at everyone. Red Star FC is the most successful club in Serbia with a record of 26 national championships and 24 national cups in both Serbian and former Yugoslavian competitions.
