It did not ban the possession of child pornography nor the production of animated depictions. Japanese families are now on the verge of another success in their quest to protect children and abolish any material that sexualy exploits children. The Japanese government is finally moving forward to criminalize the possession of child pornography − a law which most families feel is long overdue. While many are already praising the new proposed law, not everyone is happy.
