Enjoying my bike with 6 strips of WS2811 RGB LEDs driven by an Arduino on the front wheel. LED programs can be switched on the go with sequences of brakes or hitting the handle bar on the side, which are detected by the sensor board in the wheel. Instructable here: http://www.instructables.com/id/Bike-wheel-WS2811-LED-effects-with-Arduino/nnThe LEDs can show text, images or animations but this is not in the video because the Persistence of Vision effect is not visible when recorded with my point & shoot camera, or a few phone cameras I've tried. This was recorded with my CHDK-equipped canon point & shoot with all default settings and no processing. I need to try out the videxp3.lua script for CHDK next time, it might be able to force longer exposition times. When looking at the Monkey Lights video (which looks great on video despite only 4 LED strips), I notice many of the shots with the lights are half-or-so frame rate, which I guess lets them use longer exposition per frame. There also seems to be a very slight motion blur effect, which works if the camera moves together with the bike, but I mostly have static camera so it wouldn't make any sense.nnThe LEDs really are as bright as they look here, at night, and can still be seen in daylight. This is all at about 1/3rd the full power. Less

A pet project using littleBits components to make music. http://littlebits.cc/projects/the-arduino-waving-pianonnIt's a littleBits arduino-based board that was programmed to behave as an oscillator. The keyboard sends different frequencies that are mapped to tuned pitches on the output. The slide is used to "wave" the output pitch just like a guitar's whammy bar. Less

Flexibility, concentration, speed and thrill. Being in an agent/ spy movie’s indispensable Laser Room caused all these actions. We’ve actualised the space where the agents passes through the lasers to reach the precious goal at the end of the room ! nnWe’ve set a 7.3x2.5x2.5 m modular construction. Therefore we construct the playground in 2 hours to wherever we want. We made the experience design using 200 mW green lasers. We connected the laser network to the circuit managed by Arduino Uno. We set security cams and set in some smoke to make the players work easier. Although it is fun for the players to play we’ve set a compelling parcour for them. nnWe set an automatic security system for 200mW lasers that may scratch the eye retina and may burn the skin. Whenever the player touches the lasers, the system turns off automatically, the lights are on and the alarms get activated. Players are expected to be speedy and nimble in a 3 min time period. nnGood Luck!nnProducer: NERDWORKING nConcept Development: Erdem Dilbaz (NERDWORKING) & Gökhan Okuyucu (HiPO)nRoom Design: Tamer Abaşlıoğlu (HiPO)nTechnical Design & Programing: Osman KoçnTechnical Crew: Sergen Tertemiz & Doğuş DilbaznExperience Design: Ayşe Sökmen & Osman KoçnProject Cordinator: Saliha YavuznDocumentation: Gökhan Tekin Less

TightLight is the codename for an automatic 3D projection mapping method devised by (me) Grady Sain. It's a fast, accurate, cheap, and dependable way to projection map any number of objects of any size or shape. I developed this technique after many years experience designing and directing projection mapped events and shows. I used Touch Designer 088 to develop the system. It interfaces with Arduino hardware and custom built circuits. Less
