This is my latest Arduino project! It is a PIR(Passive InfaRed) sensor, with an LCD Status Display. (if I add a number pad to it I could make a security alarm that almost rivals the ones people buy for their houses!!) Will it possibly spook the family cat? We will find out Saturday! Less

In this tutorial Justy will very kindly show you how to convert an Ethernet enabled Arduino into a NinjaBlock. Why would one wish to do such a thing? If you're familiar with Arduino, you'll be able to adapt your your projects to the Ninja Platform. It also saves you having to hack your block's cape directly. You also get a Ninja Block 'for free'! Late at night or early in the morning as suits your taste, first test of my Arduino software environment. I got this Arduino Mega 2560 a while back for a project that I still hope to get going but haven't yet. I just dug out an old PC speaker and found a sample sketch and a sound file to try out on it. I started with this code: playground.arduino.cc Maybe I'm easily amused but this tickles me. A famous sample from a famous space movie... Less

I've had to work on some computer controlled LED's for a project, so I decided to setup some of them as permanent Christmas lights. I used an Arduino Uno, Seasonic 460W fanless power supply and five of the AdaFruit RGB pixel strings. I used one or two of the RGB patterns from the Lady Ada example, but wrote the rest until I ran out of ideas - for ones that don't have specific loop lengths, I have the duration set to 10 seconds before moving to the next pattern.nnThe RGB pixels are mounted underneath the tiles on the roof, three per tile, two facing up on either side of the tile and one facing out at an angle in the middle.
