Kevin and George from the Uncut Sports Show give their official UFC 168 event highlights from last night's shocking UFC 168: Weidman vs Silva 2 event highlighted by a rematch between Chris Weidman vs Anderson Silva. The next fight and co-main event on the official UFC 168 fight card was a women's UFC fight between Ronda Rousey vs Miesha Tate. UFC women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey defended her title against rival Miesha Tate, but her win did not come in the first round, and it was no walk in the park. After a spirited back-and-forth fight, Rousey secured her patented armbar early in the third round to notch her second win over Tate, whom she took the Strikeforce belt from in March 2012.nnWhile the champion's performance was dominant, her behavior after the fight wasn't applauded. Rousey refused to shake Tate's hand in the cage and was loudly booed by the crowd. Rousey displayed a more varied skill-set against Tate, who gamely escaped multiple submission attempts. The two went toe-to-toe on several occasions and traded heavy punches. On the ground, however, the fight was all Rousey's as Tate struggled to avoid being submitted. The champ frequently tossed her to the mat and maintained dominant position. Late in the second round, the former Strikeforce champ nearly was choked out by a reverse triangle as she attempted to secure a takedown. Rousey bullied Tate to the cage in the third round before getting the fight to the mat, where she set up an armbar. An exhausted Tate had no choice but to tap at the 0:58 mark of the round.nnRousey (8-0 MMA, 2-0 UFC) remains undefeated and earns her second straight UFC victory after a first-round submission of Liz Carmouche in the headliner of UFC 157. Tate (13-5 MMA, 0-2 UFC) has now dropped back-to-back fights following a TKO loss to Cat Zingano at The Ultimate Fighter 17 Finale. Zingano, who was forced to withdraw from a coaching spot on "The Ultimate Fighter 18" and title fight, is expected to be Rousey's next title challenger.nnThe UnCut Sports Show presents "UFC Primetime", a weekly ufc show that breaks down the most exciting ufc events, ufc fights and ufc knockouts on the ufc schedule.
