This is the thirteenth watch and it is a high carat gold cased watch, I have called it 18ct as the French used 18ct as there lowest grade of gold at this time the other grades were just over 20ct and 22ct, the watch case is also inlaid with enamel as you can see, the Swiss movement although plain looking is of a high grade and fully jewelled to the centre wheel and is an excellent timekeeper. The inscription on the watches cuvette gives a date of 1908, and an address of 49 Rue Jeanne Darc, Rouen which is in France, I can find no information on Louis Delarue or Albert Degon, but I Googled the address in Rouen and the building that they traded from still stands, and today a tobacconist, oral surgeon, dietician, and estate agent all trade from the premises, I have included a few still photographs of the watch and other information. #financial_support_div{ display:none; position: absolute; width:300px; height:180px; margin-left: -150px; margin-top: -70px; /*- half of width and height */ top:50%; left:50%; padding: 5px; opacity:0.9; filter:alpha(opacity=90); z-index:1000; background-color:#000; color: white; } .close_box{ background: gray; color:#fff; padding:1px 3px; display:inline; position:absolute; right:1px; margin-right: -13px; margin-top: -13px; border-radius:3px; cursor:pointer; border: 1px #000 solid; } $(document).on("click",".close_box",function(){ $(this).parent().fadeTo(300,0,function(){ $(this).remove(); }); }); Loading the player ...
