Items up for sale at the Beverly Hills auction house include Madonna's jewellery, past awards, original vinyl, a wedding gown and even the post nuptial agreement from the star's marriage to Sean Penn. On top of the Madonna collection, items from Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson and The Beatles will be up for auction, along with pieces from over 40 international stars. Julien's Auction has estimated the value of its full collection at between 1 and 1.5 million dollars (€800,000 to €1.2 million), with Madonna's pieces anticipated to fetch between $300,000 to $500,000 (€240,000 to €401,000) alone. Martin J Nolan, the auction house's executive director, commented that he was optimistic about a 'bidding frenzy' over the weekend. While the bidding has already started online, the auction house will be open to the public from Tuesday November 4 until Friday November 7, when the auction will commence. Less
