In this video, I'm going to share with you how to use stock trading level 2 because there's a lot of demand to know about it and want to learn about it so let's learn it from this video. TIME-STAMPED SHOW NOTES [00:58] Free Level 2 with no annual fees using TD Ameritrading [01:42] The image on the screen shows Level 2 on the left and Time and Sales on the right [02:09] There are two columns with Level 2 – the Bid (buy) column and the Ask (sell) column [02:19] Reason Level 2 is important – You see the build-up of the pending orders going on [03:46] You can use Level 2 to see key resistance and key support places. [04:17] The chart might show there’s support at a certain price but, if it’s not showing on Level 2, then it’s probably not true. [06:14] Here the Bid is at 25.49. This means the highest someone is willing to buy the stock is for $25.49 [06:31] Here, the Ask is 25.51. This means the lowest someone is willing to sell the stock is at $25.51 [06:40] The spread is always the difference in the amount of buying and selling [07:11] On the Size column is the amount of shares that they want. The scale is a 100. [07:39] How to analyse where there’s support and where there’s resistance [09:01] What happens on the right – the Time and Sales sheet. [09:24] Difference between Level 2 and Time and Sales – On Level 2, you see the orders that are waiting. As soon as they get executed, they get thrown onto the Time and Sales. [09:46] Time and Sales shows all the stocks that are being traded every second and the exact price the stock is moving on. [10:55] Also, Time and Sales tells you that if you put your order at that second and at that amount, you might be able to get your order fulfilled. And also you might be able to get a profit at that split second. We have talked about stock trading, we can now use this technical analysis tactic to look behind the scenes and understand who and how many people are buying the specific stocks you are looking at. When you understand the number of orders that are in play, you can predict the direction the price will go, giving you a massive advantage over 99% of traders. The primary goal is to purchase and sell shares in different companies and try to profit off short-term earn from stock price trouble for a trader or for clients. The stock trading level 2 allows you to watch the trades being executed right in front of you. Level 2 gives you more insight than you need about how a given stock is moving in other words, its price action. The screen on your trading platform lists the traders who have been active in buying, selling, or shorting shares of given stocks. You can see an image in the video and I'm giving explanations about the level two to use this image. Level 2 is a very important tool. There have two columns and there are the buy and the sell. You can see here how many people want to buy the stock and what price. Charts are very important but level 2 is more important because the chart might show there's support at a certain price but if it is not shown on level two and you get more information and you are getting deeper into the stock from level 2. Trading without level 2 is like driving a car without glasses without your wipers running when it is super and raining heavily. Level two gives you more information that can benefit you with your trading and it can help you not only profit more but also prevent you from losing out.
