Those fortunate few have a passion for communicating and an innate gift for connecting with people that is simply undeniable. With her vivacious personality and powerful, distinctive voice, Tiffany Woys is definitely a born entertainer. Born and raised in Sacramento, California, she grew up being influenced by powerhouse vocalists such as Celine Dion, LeAnn Rimes, Faith Hill, Michael Jackson and Carrie Underwood. As a child, she’d look for any opportunity to get up and sing in front of people. At 20, Tiffany knew she wanted to pursue a career in music. After honing her stage presence by performing relentlessly at venues and events up and down the West Coast, she followed her dreams to Nashville in March 2018. Since arriving in Nashville, Tiffany has earned the respect of Music City insiders for her warm, evocative vocals and her plucky attitude. Working alongside producer Bobby Campbell (Lauren Alaina, Meghan Trainor), Woys recorded a debut EP that showcases her potent way with a lyric and simmering vocal energy. “Hostage,” Tiffany’s latest single and the follow-up to her debut EP, has just been released to country radio. Written by Ben Caver, Sara Haze and Sam Ellis, and produced by Bobby Campbell, the “hard-driving breakup anthem” is what Woys describes as a “deep concept with tempo.” Visit https://www.tiffanywoys.com/ for the latest, and follow her on socials: https://www.facebook.com/TiffanyWoys/ https://www.instagram.com/tiffanywoys/ https://twitter.com/tiffany_woys “Hostage” Lyrics I’ve tried to outrun you But you know you never let me get too far from you No, you chase me down ‘till you catch my heart I’ve tried to shake you, make you put your weapons down We’re through, still you keep comin’ back around You won’t stay, but won’t walk away Just give me a chance to forget your name You say you don’t want more, but I’m at your door And I don’t want to fight this war Don’t lock up my love, baby, Just let me go You’re holdin’ my heart hostage Let me go You’re holdin’ my heart hostage Let me go You put my heart in handcuffs And threw away the keys Now I can’t escape this love ‘Cause you’re always there reminding me Your kiss, your touch, haunting all my dreams I wish I could erase your memory You won’t stay, but won’t walk away Just give me a chance to forget your name You say you don’t want more, but I’m at your door And I don’t want to fight this war Don’t lock up my love, baby, Just let me go You’re holdin’ my heart hostage Let me go You’re holdin’ my heart hostage Let me go Oooooohhhhhhh Release me Release my love Release me Release my love Don’t lock up my love, baby, Just let me go You’re holdin’ my heart hostage Let me go You’re holdin’ my heart hostage Let me go You won’t stay, but won’t walk away Just give me a chance to forget your name You say you don’t want more, but I’m at your door And I don’t want to fight this war Don’t lock up my love, baby, Let me go You’re holdin’ my heart hostage Let me go You’re holdin’ my heart hostage Let me go You’re holdin’ my heart hostage Let me go You’re holdin’ my heart hostage Let me go You’re holdin’ my heart hostage Let me go #TiffanyWoys #Hostage #CountryMusic --- Powered by http://www.vydia.com Less
