Ozzy Osbourne has admitted to being camera-shy following his stint on reality show The Osbournes. The rocker says being filmed 24/7 started to grate on him: "I didn't like being on TV. My ego did for five minutes, but then it got old very quick. Be careful what you experiment with because sometimes it takes off." The 61-year-old admitted to letting his inhibitions get the better of him: "I began to get camera shy. When you have a camera crew living in your house all the time it takes its toll." And Ozzy was quick to rubbish rumours that Johnny Depp is to play him in a movie: "I want to get an English person because I'm not American. I'd like to get a guy from Birmingham you know, an unknown actor." Ozzy Osbourne's latest album Scream is available to buy from Monday 21st June.   Less

Trailer: On this episode of the Longines Chronoscope with Frank Knight, the special guest was Jay Bracken-Lee, the Governor of Utah. Bracken-Lee was on this episode to assess the feasibility of balancing the federal budget. He believes that it can and should be done and feels he knows how to do it. Bracken-Lee began to balance the budget in his state by using his veto power to deny a lot of unnecessary spending. He also reduced the number of employees in the government offices. Too many people create too little work. Idle workers affect the way productive workers do their job. So without the waste, there are more efficient workers. The biggest opposition he has seen is in the school corporations. They have been denied the ability to grow at the same rate they were hoping. However, the money saved in the government went to building new schools and renovations. In order to balance the federal budget, the federal government should turn their taxation powers over to the individual states. The states are much closer to the people and can better assess how much each person should pay. The states are already setup to tax the people, and it is costing the federal government a lot of overhead to process all federal taxes. The federal government will assess each state’s taxes. The state will then assess each person in its territory. Bracken-Lee supports his fellow Republicans, especially Senator Taft, in their next elections. Considered the first Sci-Fi TV show; it ran on the Dumont Network from 1949 to 1955. Done a shoestring budget and performed live, note the flubbed lines and rinky-dink special effects. You may notice that the show is awkwardly padded out with stock footage from an old western movie which has nothing to do with the rest of the show. The theme music was however better than the tinny organ usually used for live TV and radio at the time. A wildly popular show aimed at kids it spawned a slew of merch like like lunchboxes, toys etc. and was later spun into a movie serial with a bigger budget and a different cast. A white Volvo P1800 (with licence plate ST1) driven by Simon Templar, played by Roger Moore, was featured in the TV series The Saint beginning in 1962 and played a prominent role throughout the entire run of the show. Roger Moore was so smitten with the Volvo that he bought one for his own personal use. Two new cars had been introduced at the Geneva Motor Show in 1961, a Jaguar E-type and the Volvo P1800. Jaguar was first offered the opportunity to provide an E-Type for the TV series but declined, feeling they had too much demand already and not seeing the need for additional press. When asked for a P1800, Volvo jumped at the chance. This led to an increase of sales of the P1800 and the creation of a 1960's icon.
