We have three cats: Suki, Soya, & Lhoki, & they each have very distinctive personalities. Suki & Soya are indoor only. Lhoki is our "Polar cat"...she hates being locked in the house-& she sleeps in our out building in old towels inside the pet carrier & runs the land in the day like it's the 1960's or something.... Suki's always been inside, but Soya was a stray we took in as a wee one, & she'd spent the first 5 months of her life outside. Soya's life is ruled by her belly. Let me note that we fill our fur kids food/water bowls twice a day, & we give them snacks here & there as well.... However, this is still not satisfactory to Miss Soya. That girl is on a constant quest for food, her food, your food, food unattended for more than three seconds food, ...baby she love her some FOOD!...So, that being said...We have implemented many methods in which to handle this issue...one being, immediately upon purchase of a new bag of vittles....we transfer the food directly into a plastic storage bin that we store in the bottom of our Pantry-as to avoid another," Chew hole in bag:Have a feline eating disorder party"- while we are away earning more money for more cat food & litter...Getting to the point:Yesterday I was home during the day & watching/scoffing @ some heinous model competition nonsense on the tube...& noticed some odd sounds in the hall...@ first I dismiss it (Cat playing w/ toy?)...after a few continuing minutes of the sound...*sigh*... I turn off the TV to better hear ... Less
