Thank you if you decide to use it! Hello everyone! Today I am reviewing the Adore Bi-Tone Yellow contact lenses and the Solotica Natural Colors ‘Mel’ contact lenses. In this video, I compare the price, color selections, comfortability, and would I repurchase lenses from both companies. I have to be honest and say that I don't "love" the Solotica Natural Colors 'Mel' contacts simply because I find that they dont look realistic and actually look pixelated up close. They even look kinda pixelated when in natural room lighting and in photos. However, they look BEAUTIFUL in the sunlight. They look absolutely stunning and gorgeous. Just look at the pictures that I took and see for yourself. They are more on the greenish side and they have a lime-green center. They have a slight limbal ring along the edges and Im not particularly a fan of the limbal ring. The only ones that I like the limbal ring on is the Natural Colors 'Ocre'. As you all know, those are my FAVORITE lenses and the limbal ring doesn't look too noticeable. I absolutely love the doll-eyed effect that they give my eyes. As for the Adore Bi-Tone Yellow contact lenses, those are my SECOND FAVORITE lenses. They are so pretty and while they look alittle pixelated up close, they look so beautiful in the natural sunlight. They are more of a muted green (not so bold and bright like the Solotica Natural Colors 'Mel'), but look just as beautiful especially in the natural sunlight. In room lighting, they look just fine. I love the Adore contact lenses Bi Tone collection since it is a more natural collection and I love how natural they look as opposed to their other collections. Below are the claims that both websites make. ADORE'S WEBSITE: Adore color contact lenses are a distinctive collection of cosmetic contact lenses. Crafted with an exquisite artistic touch for the discriminating taste, Adore lenses are designed for those in pursuit of stunning eye-color change while enjoying long lasting comfort. Adore Bi-Tone lenses give your eyes a unique sparkle. The color is distributed in two different shades, creating an irresistible and dramatic chromatic contrast. Available in seven brilliant colors: gray, green, blue, acqua, yellow, hazel, honey. SOLOTICA'S WEBSITE: Solotica lenses were made for people who have dark eyes in particular. Solotica Natural Colors are the least opaque lenses in the Solotica range, with a thin and light grey limbal ring. Solotica Natural Colors contact lenses are available in many different colors - ice, azul (blue), mel (honey), verde (green), marine, ocre (hazel), graphite, esmeralda, quartzo, topazio, crystal, amber, hazelnut (avela). Both companies live up to their claims and I encourage anyone who is new to wearing contact lenses to check both of them out first. I also review more affordable lenses (make sure to check out my playlist below), but the Adore Bi-Tone Yellow contact lenses are one of my FAVORITE contacts lenses to wear. While, the Solotica Natural Colors 'Mel' contacts aren't my favorite, they will be someones' cup of tea. Todays' video is all about how to take care of your contact lenses! As you all know I wear colored contacts pretty much all the time and its important that you take care of your eyes. Your eyes are the 'windows to your soul' hahahaha! So taking care of them is super important! In this video I discuss best practices to take care of your contact lenses whether they are colored contacts, clear contacts, monthly contacts, circle lenses, prescription, or non-prescription contact lenses. Here is how to take care of your contact lenses properly: Tip #1: Wash your hands! I can't tell you how important to wash your hands BEFORE you handle your contact lenses. Your hands carry so much germs and bacteria and if you put your hands in your eyes continuously, then that is the fastest way to get an eye infection. I've had an eye infection twice already and it's not fun. Please make sure to wash your hands; I wash my hands before I handle my contact lenses and after I put them in. It's very important to keep your hands as clean as you can. If you are out & about and can't wash your hands? Use hand sanitizer. Tip #2: Don't sleep or nap with your contact lenses in! I've done this alot in the past and that is how I got my first eye infection. It was terrible and lasted almost 2 weeks; I had to pretty much 'baby' my eye back to health. It was the worst! Learn from my experience and don't even take a nap with them in! Hahahahahah....I try to do my best to take them out and it really does make a difference. Your eyes need to breathe and require oxygen. Oxygen keeps your eyes clear and gets rid of any pollutants. If you sleep with your contacts in, then you are not allowing the proper amount of oxygen to clear your eyes. So take your contacts out and your eyes will thank you! Tip #3: Clean and Disinfect your contacts! It's so important to clean your contacts before putting them in! Your lenses pick up bacteria and deposits everyday and so cleaning them is SUPER important! You need to clean them and disinfect them so that they will be comfortable and clear when you put them. The contact lens case that comes with your solution is very important to use. The Clear Care solution that I talk about in this video has a particular case that you have to use for the best cleaning possible.
